This is a great item to have if you are trying to watch TV from across the room without disturbing your sleeping neighbor. It's a thick cable, which seems like it should be durable and offer plenty of years of service. Sound quality seems good and I haven't noticed any crackling or static, even if I wiggle the plugs.UPDATE: 2 Years Light-Use Later… Was kind of disappointed that the wires at the jack end have broken internally. Still, the cable has been overall a success. Will solder a new jack on the end of the cable, no problem."There's no such thing as a fool-proof system. Someone will make a better fool, tomorrow."

If you're looking for a cord that you can fit into a tighter space, this isn't it. The large "male" end doesn't play well with my phone's case and I would either need to remove the case to fully insert the cord, or break something. The cord works fine, it's just a size issue.

I live in an apartment where the walls are thin. I like to stay up late and watch tv however I was afraid of waking the neighbors so I always kept the volume low which made it hard to hear. I got this extension cord and my problem was solved! I just plugged my earbuds in the female side of the cord and stuck the male side in the earphone slot on my tv and voila! I can listen at any volume I please without bothering anyone. The cord is plenty long enough for me to sit anywhere in the living room I want.

I have a sit / stand desk at work and found that I was unable to stand at my desk because my earphone cord was not long enough to reach when plugged in. One of the guys in our IT Division at work recommended that I purchase I product. I'm so glad that I did! I can now move about freely since my cord is plenty long (whether I sit or stand). The cord is made of very strong material and works perfectly.

I am hard of hearing and use a headphone for TV and watching videos in my apartment. I like the idea of hearing all programs a lot better. I needed a longer cord and this 12 foot cord is excellent. The time when I ordered and when I received was superb. With my TV the longer earphone cord cable and headphones is fantastic. Thank you all for the work you do.

Perfect to use at the office when the computer is far from my monitor and I need an extension for headphones. I just bundle up the length I don’t need since it’s wxtremely long.

This is the second of these that I have purchased in the past year. The first only lasted a few months, and I thought that maybe I did something to break it, so I bought the second a month ago and really paid attention to what I did with it when I used it to listen to a movie on my computer, making sure I disconnected it and put it away when I wasn't using it. In less than a month, with only a few uses, it acts like it is shorting out again. This is frustrating and I will look for some other type of extension so I can watch movies or listen to music without disturbing my neighbors.
