Be Careful What You Use Them For!
I need to give a bit of backstory in this review.I have iLive IH23B 2.1 speaker system for my computer- this system lights up with constant Blue LEDS, which will be an important note below- but the iLives cords aren't long enough to keep my subwoofer on the floor and the 2 satellite speakers next to my monitor, so I bought these.I only needed maybe a 2 or 3 ft extension but the shortest length available by this seller is 6ft. When I got them (I ordered one for each speaker) they worked well, everything played fine and the speakers' lights stayed on.I typically dont use computer audio except for YouTube or iTunes, and I turn off these speakers so I dont wear them or the wires out. Yesterday I turned them on to play some music, and the satellite speakers (which use the extension wires) sounded like they were in a mile long can and the led lights were nothing but flickers of light.I not very knowledgeable about sound systems and wires, so I assumed my speakers were broken and spent an hour trying to figure out what was wrong. When I was ready to return my speakers I remember I had these extension wires.I removed the wires, plugged the original speakers into the subwoofer and immediately my speakers were fine. I tested the extension wires on my phone and headphones, they both worked fine. I even connected them with another 4 inch extension wire with a L-shaped jack, and they were still good- unfortunately my jack stopped working when o try to use it but I think it's just old and needs to be replaced. What was REALLY interesting to me was that when the broken jack was reconnected with this extension wire, it worked again, though maybe the signal just went straight through the broken jack. I repeat, I'm not very knowledgeable about sound. To recap: Even though these are thin wires.and feel like they won't last long, they're good wires, but make sure they are only connected to speakers that only need to transmit sound, because they don't seem to work for trasmitting additional (power for?) effects.

After wrestling around with trying to figure out the best way to set up some kind of Bluetooth connection between my TV/Game Systems, I became frustrated with having to charge batteries, deal with syncing, and then find that the lag that comes with Bluetooth just didn't do it for me when watching movies and playing certain games. At such a great price and length of cable (probably twice what I actually needed) I figures a really long cord might be the way to go. I purchased three of these cables and I'm currently using one of them every day. I had more than enough cord to run from behind the TV, under the baseboard, and behind my favorite chair. Now I can just plug in the headphones of my choice and hear everything crystal clear with no lag whatsoever. Sometimes, the most simple method of solving a problem is the best one. Don't mess with Bluetooth...go with a really long cord.

Great 3.5mm stereo jack extension
I purchased two of these for work to get audio off of my laptop on a docking station closer to my keybaord. I use an "Ergotron" which moves my keyboard, mouse and monitors up and down so I can sit or stand at my desk. This created problems listening to Pandora on my work computer while standing. An extension to my audio jack created a perfect solution. In fact I ordered another for a co-worker to set up his desk in a similar manner. I use this extensively and have not had any issues. It is obviously very plug and play.

Not perfect, but works for me
The outer diameter of the male connector and the inner diameter of the female connector are both a tiny bit too small, so the male is too loose and the female is too tight. Despite that, I succeeded connecting the stereo audio output of my TV to headphones, and the cable seems to function alright.

No loss of audio quality, works for what most people need!
No problem with this item - I used it to plug into my laptop under my desk and still be able to use my headphones. No loss of audio quality, and the item works perfect since ordering. The length is a little excessive, but for the price I was happy...it's not like I wasted money on too long of a cord. I clipped the female end to my cubical wall, so I can easily put away my actual headphones when I leave for the night.

Great cable, good price. Works well even though the wire is so thin.
Good cable. Cheap. :)No complaints, though the cable is VERY thin. It isn't durable, but since I was just going to put it in place and never move it, this posed no issues. If you were going to run it through a wall though or pull it in any way, be careful. You probably want to get a thicker wire.

Good cable that performed as expected.
This extension was exactly what a friend of mine needed to extend his computer speaker cable across his new offace and connect to his receiver. Good quality cable that worked as expected.

The wire is very thin. I'm worried that it is not durable enough. Also, if you plug in headphones with a microphone jack, you will not get proper stereo audio through this adapter. (Given that it is only a tip-ring-sleeve cable, I would expect stereo audio and no microphone, not mono audio and no microphone.)
