Wonderful in Raman noodles and soups!
We try before we stock in prepper storage. These are yummy and actually sweet! I've used them in all kinds of broths and soups but I think one of our favorite is these and the corn in Raman noodles and Japanese stir fried noodles! I also toss a handful in the food I cook for our mastiffs and they eat them too! They spit out canned! LoL. Plan on these being a staple in both pantries! Did I mention they're sweet? Yum!

I use these...
I use these to make my own freeze dried camping meals and they do the job, but they're not great. Not overly flavorful, and a little flaky. Their, peppers and corn reconstitute better than these peas, but the peas are better than the carrots. Still, I think they're good enough for an emergency, or a camping dinner.... I even use them for soups and stews at home from time to time. So, yeah, they're OK!

buy what you can while you can!
Whatever, buy what you can while you can. Prices going up and up, availability will go down. Buy extra every time when at store. If you are at a spot where buying emergency marketed foods are within your budget, then by all means do so. Tuck it away. Todays cost will be more than paid for come tomorrow, ya know?Go for what you like to eat, go for variety. If you are deciding between vegetables, peas are nice way to go because they offer more nutrients (esp protein) over some options (such as corn). I pretty much only grab emergency food when it is on sale. I often just tuck it away and forget it. But I will occasionally buy it and use it if it happens to be cheaper than a non emergency packed food that I use regularly.I like Augason Farms quality and for the most part pricing. They have quite an assortment. I typicalluy buy the #10 cans (number ten) for stack ability, uniformity, readability, and ease of getting into (just a regular can opener). They float, they are durable, and I am not worried about dents (not same as a wet food product).

Can’t stop. Won’t stop.
I bought these for a parrot but I started snacking on them myself. If they have carrots I must have them.
