I bought these for marching band rehearsal and performances. I come from a huge band of almost 500 members. It can be extremely loud when we play and learn drill on the field, in a rehearsal room, or in the stands. I needed to be able to clearly hear what the director was saying but also block out as much noise as possible to protect my ears. I got these in excellent time and have loved using them. I’ve had them for almost two weeks now and have found that they work perfectly. They fit comfortably in my ear and won’t fall out. It also helps that they come with two extra outer shells that are a smaller size. The earplugs block out some sound but not all of it, I can hear people talking pretty clearly but when the band starts playing and getting really loud it blocks out enough noise that I can comfortably hear each part in the music. I’ve started wearing them whether we are playing or not. The mic on the director is loud so these help keep the noise down while also being able to hear what he says. Overall I have fallen in love with these and will continue to use them to help protect my hearing.

These work wonderfully well, sand I am very glad they come with two sizes of "shells" right off the bat. My first order never came, but these are a great replacement. I used them for a concert that was extremely loud, even though I was in a balcony in a Civic center. I could hear the music and words well, while these cut down the deep bass and any screechy quality to the higher notes that can damage sensitive ears. I also bought a set for my daughter who will be working a lot of rock concerts as an EMT, so she can hear the people near her who are talking, but not damage her hearing from music she doesn't necessarily want to hear anyway. :-) The carrying container is a perfect size for at front pants pocket, and unexpectedly screws shut to stay closed, as opposed to merely snapping shut but popping open easily and getting the plugs covered with lint or pocket trash.

Wore them to a small venue rock concert. I will say they did protect my ears but I feel they block out more than advertised. At times I pulled one out to see the difference and it was quite a lot, more than the 20db advertised in my opinion. My only complaint is they do not want to come out of the little storage container.

The media could not be loaded. Brought these plugs to a thrash show last night, let me hear the sets perfectly and even stayed in my ears in a circle pit and didn't move an inch when I fell and almost got trampled

Lately I’ve been finding it more and more important to take care of my body and as a concert goer these are a must. They let me hear the music perfectly while muffling the screaming and overpowering bass that wrecks your ears. Took a bit to get used to them but one I have them in I forget they’re there now. They’re comfortable and a great value. Nice that they come with different sizes for the best fit.

I've used a number of varieties of high fidelity earplugs. For me, these are not the most comfortable as some, but provide better sound reduction than others. Everyone has different shaped ears so they might be great for you. The case is nice and compact.If you don't want to splurge on some expensive ones that still might not fit, then you could give these a try. Anything is better than nothing if you want to save your hearing, which you should!These earplugs are a good budget option.

Purchased for a music festival. Brought along my cheapy foam ear plugs as a backup. Glad I did. These did not cancel any noise, like none. I tried the 2 different sized plugs, no difference. Purchased these based on good reviews but there is literally no way you can mess up putting in an ear plug. They just simply do not work. Felt really weird returning them since I had tried them, but I wasn't going to throw away $15 on them. Only redeeming quality in these is the little capsule carrying case on a key ring. Had they worked, it would have been nice to have them on-hand.
