Bolkin Apple Ipad Mini / Mini2 Shockproof Case Cover (Black+black)

This case has protected our iPad Mini for almost 6 months of two adults and two small children using it. We like the kickstand, but it is a little difficult for the children to pull out on their own. The only thing I would change is for this to come with some sort of screen protection film. Other than this other minor additional purchase to completely protect your iPad, we have been happy with our purchase.

This is a nice case and fits really well. It seems to do a pretty good job protecting it from being damaged when dropped. The buttons on the iPad are easy to push even though the case is covering them. There is no screen protector. Also if you want this because it can stand up I would select another product. The stand broke almost immediately. If you don't need the screen protector and/or don't plan on using the stand much I would say this is a good deal.

You get what you pay for. the case is made of cheap plastic surrounded by a durable silicone cover. It covers the corners well and raises the edges protecting the screen. My biggest complaint is the kick stand. It broke immediately. It won't latch closed. I bought it to go along with the iPad mini as a Xmas present so will look for a temporary fix. Maybe some velcro to hold it closed.

The case covers every bit of the iPad's front except the actual screen, and its thickness keeps you from being able to swipe the edge of your screen to bring up the shortcut menu for things like brightness, wifi, etc. I use that feature all the time, so this was a frustration and I sent the case back. If they had left a 1/8" strip of the iPad's face around the screen, it would have solved that issue.Also, the kickstand was extremely hard to open the first few times.

The Case fits well and appears to protect the iPad from small bumps. However, the stand is very difficult to pull out after snapping it shut. It seems flimsy as it could snap or bend if enough pressure was applied to it.
