I don't normally write reviews, and i am not a friend or owner of the company. I do however like to meticulously research my purchases and looked at all the brands and every feature offered by every pellet grill maker in the US. I even spoke to the sales reps at 4 of the majors and got additional insight on each grill. based on research and reviews, the Rec Tec seemed like the best bang-for-the-buck and I pulled the trigger. I am happy to report that everything I read about this company was on mark. Beautifully shipped, excellent construction and great cooking results --- I could't be happier with my decision. Things I'd like to see in future offerings: pellet clear out, ash pot clean out, and made in USA. But that being said, buy no other -- this thing is built like a tank and will outlast and outperform some of those that offer those features at a low cost. Rec Tec is the way to go. The next two comparable grills cost 2 and 3 times as much.

Received this pellet grill ahead of schedule and was packed super tight and damage free ! It was very easy to set up and operate . This Rec Tec Stampede is built to last and it holds its temperature either exactly or within 1-2 degrees of the temp set. Cooked Rib eye, chicken and Chops and all of them came out perfect and juicy. This Rec Tec should last for years. If you are thinking about this grill or a Rec Tec .... don’t wait this is the best built grill ! Own it now !

I love this smoker. The pictures are from my initial cooks getting use to the smoker. The temps hold spot on. I like & recommend.

This smoker is awsome! I have smoked a lot of meat so far no issues. connection to WiFi and use of the app is easy there is plenty of room the one pic was a 14lbs and a 10lbs pork but with room to spear. I love this smoker and would recommend hands down

As a former owner of an older Traeger, as well as one of their newest pro models, the RecTec is in a league of its own. From its heavier construction, superior electronics (gets to higher temps and holds all temps rock solid), and fantastic customer support, it is a great product. Lots of options for calibrating not only the included meat probes but also the main chamber as well. You can also adjust the pellet feed rate so that you can achieve low temperatures in the height of summer. Excellent WiFi controller and app

This is a great smoker. It holds temperature really well and there are very few flare ups. Assembly was easy and straight forward. I don’t think the Rec-Tec app is as comprehensive as Traeger, but it is still incredibly handy and convenient. All in all, it’s a great pellet grill that cooks excellently.

This Pellet smoker is the bomb, I will never go back to propane or electric smoker after using this. Temp. control is spot on, the grill starts right up without any issues, holds plenty of pellets for a super long cook. I have used this a bunch of times since it arrived, Brisket, burgers, pot roast you name it, all came out wonderful. The App is pretty basic but the WiFi feature is great. I did have an issue with the thermometer that came in the bundle, it was DOA, called Rec Tec and they refunded me the difference. The grill cover also had a small rip in it, called Rec Tec and they shipped a new one out in a day or so, Customer service is great as well. Also, do not be fooled by the RT-590 smaller size, it can cook allot. So far very happy customer. When researching Rec Tec I could not find a bad review and now I realize why... happy cooking!

I have always used a charcoal grill so this pellet grill was a nice step up. It holds the temperature right at the setpoint. These pellet grills leave the meat very tender and juicy, and it's so easy to move around that my wife has no trouble using it. I have used it for a month and it always performed great. It is very nicely made. I purchased the folding shelf and seer grates to go with mine.
