I think it's legit... Mine works perfectly!
I've seen some of the negative reviews stating that the product looked cheap, or it didn't work. I am experiencing the opposite. The product was packaged just like any other Apple product, and it works perfectly. If someone's charger broke or stopped working, there is a possibility that they could be a careless person. I've had my Macbook Pro since 2011 and this is my first replacement charger (4 years later). Food for thought.

Nice to Have an Extra One
Most people looking at this product, I would assume already have the charger they had received with there laptop. Maybe, some are replacing one that got lost or damaged. However, I have found that it is nice to have extra one for my travel laptop backpack. That way, I can go at a moment's notice and be ready wherever I go to use and charge my MacBook Pro.

It Actually Works
I bought this product and was hesitant because my MacBook was 1,500 dollars and I didn't have the money at the time to buy the charger Apple sells however, I bought this. I like this charger it is compatible with my Apple extender. It does the job and it charges my laptop! I unplug it however when I am not using it. It is good for the price !

Can't say much besides that it does the job exactly like I needed
My old macbook pro charger broke down the other day so I needed a new one and I came across this one. For the price I was really surprised by the quality of the charger. It charges way faster than I thought and looks very similar to the traditional ones. Can't say much besides that it does the job exactly like I needed.

I just received an authentic Apple MagSafe 60W Power Adapter directly form Amazon. Came in original Apple packaging with both the power adapter and the extension cord. Exact match for my original MacBook Pro 2011 MagSafe power adapter. Pay the extra money if you want the real thing.

Works as advertised
Bought this over a month ago after reading some horror reviews of some that died on their new owners. What I can say is that it looks and works like the one that came with the Macbook Pro. I thank God that it did because I'm not in the US and a friend of mine delivered it to me.

Just what I wanted for half the price from Apple.
I am really happy with this power cord. I wanted to get a secondary cord for another room in the house and this fits the bill. It does not appear to be generic and works just as well as my other Apple charger. I can't even tell the difference between the two of them.
