Carbon Steel Korean BBQ Pan
Aside from the title of this product being a bit misleading because of the company name it is a pretty decent product at a more than fair price. The pan itself is made of stamped Carbon Steel and is a decently heavy gauge. The edges are a little on the rough side, but I'm okay with that. It comes unseasoned and requires that you season it. I recommend wiping it with canola oil or crisco and putting it in a 400 degree oven for 2 hours. the cradle/stand that it sits in is some kind of powder coated metal, I wouldn't call it nonstick, it's the same stuff that is on black toaster oven trays; pssibly a light enamel coating, but I doubt it. I would have liked for it to come with an initial pre seasoning and a tray holder. But for $13 I'll take it as is, and it is exactly what I've been looking for.For those that have unhelpful complaints about the prpduct, even the nonstick ones stick, and additionally the nonstick coating wears off. Carbon steel will get better with time. I'll update with photos and seasoning progress when I get a chance.

Imperfectly, Perfect
This is my first time using one of these grills, and I'm sure I'll eventually upgrade to something better. I only use this when I want Korean pork belly. That being said, this isn't horrible, but it's not gonna last a long time. I seasoned this for several hours, and it came out perfectly. My meat cooked nicely and did not stick. Unfortunately, after washing, the seasoning began to flake off. This could be user error, but still something to acknowledge. The second time I used it, I had to put foil on it, because of the flakes. After washing this time, I noticed that it's starting to rust. I'm not ready to give up yet though. I foresee some steel wool, and another round of seasoning.

Quite a Disappointment
This was quite a disappointment to me. First, there were no instructions with the grill other than how to season it on the outside of the box. I followed the directions precisely (3 hours of seasoning in the oven), but it still did not work well. The first time I cooked on it, my chicken stuck very badly (half of it got left on the grill). There was no way I could just "wipe it clean" like the box said. I had to use a little soap on it which took off all the seasoning. I went through the process of seasoning again (another 3 hours) and the same thing happened with my hamburgers. It is also very difficult to work with. There is no way to grasp it to steady it when cooking or trying to take the meat off the grill other than hanging on to the side with a potholder, which does not work well at all. It was way too much trouble for me to use and too much of a hassle to return, so it went in the trash. :(

Trust me, don't bother
I made a point of purchasing a non stick in an effort to avoid the surface wear that seems to go occur so quickly with these. Case iron SHOULD have been the better choice. The condition of this grill was awful when I open the box. The grill is cheaply made, but more importantly, it was covered in rust when I opened the package. I'll see how well it'll clean up before oiling and baking the surface for seasoning, but I'm guessing it'll be in the trash much sooner than expected. I can appreciate the inexpensive cost, but a little quality control from the production center wouldn't kill ya!

Not for glass top stoves
Disappointed to learn that it can't be used on a glasstop electric stove.Passed it on to a family member with a gas stove.

Not really what I was expecting, I should have ...
Not really what I was expecting, I should have read the description. I was in a rush and ordered something I really don't want.

Not what it seems
OK I was misled by the brand name "Cast Iron" because the pan itself is thin metal, and has to be filled with water, which defeats the idea of a "grill." Also the grill part is high over the burner, and the meat didn't cook or even brown. I finally got out my skillet and used that. I would have returned the item but it was already discolored from the one usage. Very disappointed.
