Excellent value for money. There was a small hole in the polythene bag which caused a small leakage but otherwise OK. It has to be washed in tap water several times to remove dust and debris before placing in the bottom of the aquarium. Enough sand for a 65litre fish tank.

real cheap when I bought it and better than I thought. it is ideal to use first as it bulks it out then get the colour you want then it looks as thoug it is a decent thickness. Would buy again

Sand for aquarium just love it in tank.much easier to keep tank clean.yrs and yrs ago i used to use gravel never again.much better off with sand wouldnt use anything else it looks great

Good natural colour, needs a heavy rinse with warm water first. DO NOT ADD STRAIGH TO YOUR AQUARIUM

Great gravel, needed to give these a quick rinse to get sand off before placing in the tank.

Really good value for the quantity. As other reviews have noted it does need washing through but this is to be expected. Would certainly buy again. I have a natural planted temperate tank and the brownesque colours suit set up really well.

It came quickly lovely colour but just taking a while to Seattle other sands I've brought in past were settled in 10mins put in at 12pm now 6pm no change lol I know it'll clear just takes time

Very nice fine silky sand and colour as listed in photo. Great value for the quantity. Works well mixed with some paler 2mm - 3mm gravel.
