I required this part after I goofed a battery replacement by opening the top half too far back. The phone's original flex cable tore and rendered my earpiece and front camera on an iPhone 6 useless - my fault. Installing this part was no more difficult than any other iPhone repair. If you are confident with board repair and or have a steady hand and patience performing this replacement yourself is no problem. The parts are small and requires some additional basic tools in conjunction with the included phillips and star bit screwdrivers. You will need a plastic prying tool, suction cup to remove top half of phone (LCD screen), and a pair of tweezers. The replacement will take about 30 minutes - be patient. There are some good instructional videos on UToob; the one from "Go Cell Phone Repair" gives excellent detail and makes the swap straight forward.After replacing the part my earpiece and front camera are now fully functional. I can tell no difference in image quality or other performance differences with this part compared to the working original.I had originally ordered a part from a different manufacturer that cost $2 more based solely on reviews. That one was lost in shipping, so I ordered this one. It arrived in 2 days, as estimated. I can't think of any reason to spend more on another manufacturer's part as the quality and result from this one met every expectation I had.

I got this and once I was about to install it I notice it was missing the connector part that goes to the phone to actually make it work.
