Works as promised
My mom uses this in her room at assisted living and is able to move food and beverages from the kitchenette to her chair with out spilling. Very handy. It does not fit tight to her walker, but where she puts her hands stabilizes it just fine. She would not be without it!

Universally Fits What?
Purchased this for an Invacare walker. It does not fit over the handles far enough down to properly hold the walker grips. Even with the positioning allowed, the tray in unsteady. We even took it to a local medical supply and tried it on several other walkers. It didn't fit any of them any better. When I received this tray, the enclosures said it was a nonreturnable for sanitary reasons; and vendor won't return my call. So, I have a nice new tray that fits nothing.

difficult to measure size
I ordered the tray walker for use after a hip replacement required extended time using the walker. I thought I had measured correctly for my walker. When it arrived, I found the tray fit over the bars accurately, but it would not lie flat. Thus, the tray slanted anytime it was even lightly bumped. Therefore, it was relatively useless for anything other than light weight, non-spillable objects. Also, keep in mind that the tray will block your access to placing one's body in between the bars of the walker;consequently, if the walker is needed for anything other than balance (taking one's weight off an injured leg), the tray will also prove unusable. The tray itself is fine and should last a long time. It may just be one of those things that is best purchased in house uniquely for each particular walker and not something easily selected on line.

All universal walker are not the same.
It worked great for my mother's needs, however it did not fit her older walker we had to purchase a new one, her older one the handles were to wide for the tray to slip all the way down on it.

Not perfect but still handy for me
Purchased for a Lumex folding medical walker (300 lb limit). It is not perfect fit but is handy. I got this walker from someone whose husband had passed, I need a walker for balance but do not consider myself infirm.. The tray does not balance perfectly, you need to be able to kind of set it in place each time, and when putting items on it, center them. I do not use the drink holes, I do put my lunch/dinner on plate, a mug of tea (not filled to brim), maybe a piece of fruit or bread, silverware, etc. You do have to be aware that the tray can tip forward or back if you lean on it, but I can easily walk 20 ft or so, without a problem. It is so much easier than carrying a lunch plate in one hand and a mug of tea in another, while trying to balance with two fingers on a walker.. I also sometimes use it for carrying, my cell phone and kindle fire, a notepad, pen and other small items. It is handy for me, as it fits with some finagling, if fits like mine, if setting up for an invalid, you might want to find a way of having the tray rest evenly, maybe glue a small piece of wood, or plastic to each leg, for the tray to rest on.

Great Value (On walkers that it fits)
This tray fits perfectly on Mom's walker, a Guardian model 30756P. It's a great value at $17 and free shipping from DBROTH on Amazon. It fits snugly to stay in place, but lifts off fairly easily when you need to fold the walker. It is a very basic piece, but serves Mom very well. Update 4/12/17 bought a replacement tray to replace first one that split down the middle. Maybe Mom leaned to hard on it.

Upset with company
The label "universal" says it will fit all walkers--it didn't allow for the fingers to fold around the top of the walker--did not fall low enough below to have a safe grip. When I requested return information, I got the message if it is used it will not be returnable (I didn't use it...but who knows what they will think) and we will be paying postage both ways--thought I paid already one way and a 20 % restocking fee for a $24 purchase. Packaging was a plastic bag in a plastic bag which tore in transit. Ive purchased from Amazon before and this is the first time I am upset about the return process.

Loose and wobbly.
As a nurse myself, I wanted something for my mother to use so she could carry her dishes. After trying both this one and the Duro-Med Fold Away, I've come to realize that there simply is not a perfect solution. This one is easier to use than the other one, but it is so wobbly no dish will stay on it. I finally tied a scarf around the sides and handles of the walker, which helped, but she now isn't able to hold the walker handles very well.If you live in a larger city, your best bet would be to shop around in your local stores and, just as a woman would dresses, try them on first. I am not so lucky. I live in a moderately sized city, but medical equipment competition is very lacking.I'm going to keep this one because I've already tried two, but it's not the saving grace that some have called it.

Doesn’t fit any standard Walker we’ve tried it on
Bought for an 86 year old to use on a standard walker. It didn’t fit - we have tried it on 5 different walkers and it fit none of them. They will not accept returns so we are stuck with a useless bit of plastic. No doubt if you buy “their” Walker with it then it would fit but if you’re buying for a standard Walker - don’t bother.

It is quite sturdy and very easy to take on and off for ...
I was doubtful if it would fit my husband`s zimmerframe because it is a folding one and slightly rounded at the front. However it slots over the handles on the zimmer and is extremely safe for him to carry items from his room. It is quite sturdy and very easy to take on and off for when we fold the zimmer to go in the car. I am absoutely delighted with this item and would recommend it to anyone using a zimmerframe.

SHOULD BE GOOD TO USE
I was disappointed to find it did not fit the walker I had. I set off carrying a dinner, cutlery and a drink but to my horror it all fell to the front as I walked. It did not fit properly so I have a useless tray and cannot use the walker a great deal.
