6" x 8-1/2" Easel-Backed Recipe Book & Pages

I have had this cookbook for 18 years and it is my all time go to cookbook. Any family favorite recipe goes in this book and it is the most frequently used cookbook in my house. I have been looking for another one to create a vol. 2 for myself and am so glad that I have found one. I am also going to be ordering a 3rd so I can start to create a recipe book for my 8 yr old daughter as she is learning her way around the kitchen. Thanks so much for this product and the refill sheets. The fact that the binder stands up, really sets this product apart and we love the style of the pages too.

I have been looking for this style of notebook for a very long time to use as a recipe book. This is the perfect style and size but the quality is very poor. The plastic cover will not hold up for wear. I think it will crack or peel over time. I really wish this company would make this style with a quality cover that could be passed down to my son with family recipes, plus I would love to keep one too.

Well I just received mine in the mail and I must say its a nice book. Its well made with handy conversions on the tabbed dividers. The easel ability is great, comes in real handy. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is that the description is a little deceiving. There are only two plastic covers for the pages, one in front and one in back. They way they describe the book makes me believe that all the pages are covered in plastic, but they are not. When your cooking you can remove the two plastic covers and place them in the book to cover the recipe that you are using at that time, so that is ok, but its not what I expected. All the pages should be in plastic sleeves for protection.

I was surprised with the plastic cover, especially considering the price, but I could have gotten used to it because I really liked the organization of this cookbook. However, I'm sending it back because the plastic was already split at the seam behind the 3 rings, which didn't make me think it would hold up at all.

I bought this recipe binder as a gift and I must say I am reluctant to give it. The binder is red with dull gold lettering. It does fold back part-way to act as an easel. On the inside there are two protective coverings for random recipes. There are 50 recipe sheets (100 pages) for you to write recipes on. At the top of the recipe sheet it says Recipe and directly underneath it says dish:_________serves:__________. At the bottom of the card it has a small box that says calories cholesterol and sodium if you would like to add that. The book has 12 tabbed dividers. The first one says appetizers(with mine the letters were partially rubbed off when received it). Other tabs include baked goods, desserts, eggs/cheese, meat, microwave, misc., pasta/rice, poultry, seafood, soups/salads/sauces, and vegetables. Each tabbed divider has helpful cooking tips on them. Recipe cards are refillable and measure 8 1/2 x 6". I think this is a very organized piece and it surely could come in handy, but I am not impressed with the presentation of it, especially since a new one was sent to me with the lettering of one of the tabbed dividers rubbed off halfway. I hope this review is helpful.

This is a really cool recipe book. It exceeded my expectations. There are tabs for each category and there are awesome basics for starters, like me, in each category! I'm in love. I completely forgot about the standing up feature, I had put it out of my mind because I just didn't expect it to work well, but I was surprised again. I was yelling and jumping in the kitchen like a mad lady. Seems to be very durable. I believe I've had this for a couple of months now and it is pretty good! There is even a clear page to protect your recipe from splashes. And the binder itself is made of plastic so you can clean that up too!

I really like this book but the cover is very bad. I have one and I have tried to tape it and just doesn't hold up. I would like to just buy a new cover because that's all I need but I have to buy the hold book over again.

Have two of these and really love them wish they even made one that was wider.in other words holds more pages.One book tire cuz I crammed it so full but I love how it sits up.
