Perfect sized steamer basket for my smallest (3qt) Instant Pot. Just what I needed at a great price. Well made stainless steel construction. Comes a built-in trivet and silicone sleeve over its metal handle - so you can lift it out without having to use a pot holder.

I bought this to make hard boiled eggs and it works just fine.

This makes zapping my veggies in the instapot so fast! They don't stick to the bottom anymore using this basket.

I based my purchase on a poster's size description. Not many people measure to fractional inches unless they are of an accurate nature. Also, many people claimed the basket to be too large for their purpose. Therefore, I'm going to guess, as time passed the basket has changed (?)Anyway, the basket is a great price and appears quite solid and of good quality, however, totally smaller than anticipated, based on the customer posted measurements. I am including pics of my measurements.I am deducting a star for the supplier oh-so-conveniently not choosing to list dimensions. However, due to the "wrong size" problem being based on a customer answer, I feel it will cost more to return than the basket cost. Soooo... I guess I ask which relative wants this.

Nice but way too small for what I needed

Bought a 3 quart stainless steel steamer pot with lid along with this steamer basket that was made for a 3 quart pot. When they both arrived, I noticed that the basket fits nicely in the pot, but the lip of the basket is higher than the pot, and the lid is raised above the pot. I was going to send it back, but my time and distance to the UPS store is greater than what it is worth. I guess I will just eat it.

I really like this little steamer. I probably over cook my potatoes in my Instant Pot, so it ca sometimes leave bits of potato on it when I dump them into the bowl for potato salad. But it rinses very clean if I get to it right away.

The steamer basket is designed for a 3 qt. Electric Pressure Cooker and, guess what, it fits perfectly. It's designed with room for "feet" at the bottom to keep veggies from sitting in water while cooking. Broccoli, cauliflower and carrots come out of the cooker crispy and tender. Boiled eggs for deviled eggs and egg salad steam just right and the shells literally fall off.I also use the little basket to drain noodles and to rinse fruits and veggies.I'm very pleased with this little gem.

I can't manage without this basket, I have several Instant pots that this fits into without any problems. I use it very regularly, especially for a whole carton of eggs not to mention whole vegetables and an assortment of other uses. Very handy and worth the buy. My personal opinion of course.
