It fit perfectly and there is a slot that allows you to run a cord to your phone or other audio device to keep it on the shelf without having to remove the bin or store it below. It is very handy and inexpensive.

Great fit and good quality.
This worked out so great. I removed the phone cradle that BMW had in the armrest (thanks to a YouTube video). This tray fits perfectly in my 2014 X5.

Decent quality, slow shipping and a little overpriced but looks nice.
It looks pretty nice and I like that it creates a second level to store stuff and hide things under. A little pricy for what it is but a nice touch.
