Carxtc Stereo Install Dash Kit Fits Ford Taurus 00 01 02 03 2000 2001 2002 2003 Includes Wiring [Electronics]

The product's construction is aright. However it dose not fit nicely into the dash of the car. Sometimes it falls out when the car is in motion. The wireing harness works well. I wound up putting the stock stereo back into the dash, and used this after market cover and stereo on the floor under the stock stereo. I have a friend who has the same car, and he figured out how to add a sub and better sound through the stock head unit. I think it would be worth doing that way, if you care about good looks.

This kit worked as advertised, but the designer's who decided to put the heater controls with the head unit and half the stero in the trunk can kiss my behind

Excellent fit. Kit didn't take very long to install. Looks factory. Only thing I had to modify is where the illumination wires were hot glued to the back side of heater controls. Just pry the glue loose to install your factory switches. I had one wire come loose, but fairly easy to repair.

Almost as-seen in the picture. The defrost button has no image on it so it's just a button with a light. Had to take the old locking clips from the factory face plate in order to have it lock into the dash.

Easy to install, everything I needed, cheap looking finish though.

For someone that knows wiring its a great piece but not for me. came with tons of wiring and it looks nothing like the old one. Never ended up installing it.

Kit worked great accept manufacturer really needs to pay attention to their glue points all the wires glued for the AC and heating lumination was in the way had to carefully remove them other than that great kit

the wires were tanged so we had to cut and rewire a few , and their was a small gap at the top of the dash,but it was perfect! satisfied
