Sorry, no photo of the flame. I REALLY like the care they took in packaging and instructing how to get best use from candle.Says: 'honey' scented, but I didn't notice any sweet smell . I will buy this again. I burned it, on & off for It THREE days, yes, not lit for 3 days BUT it does last!I especially like that it IS Made in America from a small business. The color is simple & in that simplicity..wonderful.

I bought this candle because I wanted a 100% beeswax candle. This candle fits the bill.Pros: Great burn time! We started burning it in 3-5 hour increments 12 days ago, and we've gotten around 40 hours out of it so far, and there's still about an inch and a half of candle left (we got the 3x4 size). We "hugged" our candle every hour or so, like the wrapper that was on the candle when it came said to do. We gently press the top part of the candle inward so that part melts also. I'd guess there's roughly a half to 3/4 inch of wax above the melt level, but as long as you "hug" it and press that part inward slightly, it melts down and gives your candle a longer life. I'm guessing other negative reviews that claim tunneling or shorter lifespan didn't do that. No candle should be left completely alone for hours anyway, so hug your candle!Cons: I don't notice a smell with this at all. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but I have smelled other beeswax candles with much stronger scent and this one has a slight scent. Take into account that I'm burning it in an open living room/kitchen area so the smell might just get dissipated before I notice it.Also, I've noticed as I "hug" it that the wick is slightly off-center so one side is thicker than the other. It's not a big deal, I compensate by "hugging" that side a little more than the other and it's not a problem.Overall, I really like this candle and am going to buy another one, probably a few, and in bigger sizes. With proper attention, this candle is worth the cost and lasts several hours.

I love that these candles don't drip wax all around the base like other pillar candles. It also burns very evenly so almost all of the wax gets used for what I bought it for. The scent is pleasant but almost imperceptible, so it doesn't clash with any incense I might be burning. This has become my candle of choice for praying the hours.

I'm not one to leave Amazon reviews, but wow - I'm so impressed with these candles. I've been burned before (pun intended) by other beeswax candles burning unevenly and tunneling really badly, but these burned beautifully and it was easy to "hug" them.The best part is that these give off SO MUCH LIGHT. One pillar candle seriously lights up the whole wall, it's just stunning. I will continue to buy these as long as they're sold!

I was using another brand & paying shipping. Get these with prime ,so no shipping cost. This size is somewhat less per candle which makes it a much better value without the $10 shipping price tag. They burn just as well, if not better. I recommend

I use a beeswax pillar candle all year to create a quiet, beautiful ambiance in my home. (With no fireplace, it's my "fire.") These are well made and last a long time. Be sure to trim the wick the next day before lighting, and press the soft sides down to create a even rim after blowing it out. I'll be purchasing more of these when needed!

These are excellent candles - got 3 of them for a set of pillar candleholders and they look awesome! Even without burning them you get the sweet scent of honey wafting lightly thru the room. Nice cotton wicks and very environmentally friendly. Great buy for the money!
