This is really well made and looks great! I followed the instructions on how to measure my waist for the kilt and it fits perfectly. I only took it down one star because of the arm bands on the top piece. I have larger, not huge 17 inches, biceps and I can barely fasten the ones that go around the bicep area but I am able to get it fastened but it's pretty tight. I haven't worn it to the party for which I purchased it but I'm pretty sure I will unfasten it before the night is over. I may put another hole in it to make it a little larger. If your biceps are smaller than 17 inches you won't have this problem. Other than that it's a great piece!

I like this skirt a lot. I do not use the rest of the outfit, though, so I may just offer the top half to someone who may like it more. When I first got this, it was suffering from the folds of packing, so I left it on the hanger for some time, to straighten itself out. I'm sure an iron (which I don't have) could help if you know how to use with the material. It's great and looks fantastic

What can I say, I purchased this item in Black a year ago.... loved it so much, I had them custom make one in red and one in white this year. The leather is beautiful and soft, not like a lot of leather that is thick and hard.... the quality is perfection!!! Just make sure to send all your measurements with your order , waist, neck, shoulder and arm length. Enjoy the leather, its been a fun addition to my life!!!

Love most of the product but the dang arm bands are huge. I'm not a tiny guy. (6,2 200 lbs 14" biceps) but the arm band, even on the smallest adjustment is huge. If I can't find someone who can make alterations to the Leather i won't be able to wear it. Pretty Disappointing. Based on other comments here it appears there may not be a lot of consistency in the arm band size. If you are not green and have major anger management issues you'll probably find the arm piece to large for you.

Before I give the wrong impression, let me say first that I love this piece. That being said, the constant warnings to recheck your size made me think this must run small, which caused me to change my order to a larger size, and now I'm trying to figure out how to make it tighter. Otherwise, the quality of work and material is very good. So, if you already know your kilt size, don't second guess yourself like I did.
