This fits quickly onto a castor on my double bed. I did find that I needed to put an extra length of webbing on the top ladder handle as it was tricky to reach the ladder whilst in bed as my bed is a super deep one. I was concerned I would not be able to locate the handle after a few moves in bed.I now have confidence it's not going to disappear down the bed.It has a small amount of stretch bit not too much. I've found it invaluable post surgery to be able to raise myself up in bed independently. I couldn't bear the pain of trying to get put of bed without it and had to summon help!Does require reasonable arm strength, but you don't have to be strong!The ladder grips are soft enough and easy to grasp, even with limited dexterity.Strongly recommend this as an aid to independence!

Good sturdy aid simple to install

My husband is a fire officer. He was climbing out of a fire engine and landed on his back. Broke a few ribs and is bedbound until further notice. Not only was this a speedy delivery, it’s a very sturdy set up and was easy to install. He’s not a light bloke so I didn’t expect it to hold him, but it does and I’ve gotten extra brownie points for buying it because it helps him lift himself up without screaming in agony. Would recommend to anyone in a similar situation!

Used for my dad who is very weak and wasn’t able to sit up himself. This allowed him to pull himself up in bed.

Great product, providing you have anchor point on bed, ie a wooden bed /foot board, has made sitting up, adjusting position in bed much easier
