Meets our standards 👍
So far so good. We love it! Easy commonsense set up. This is upgrading in size from the NunaPipa infant carseat. We like the reclining feature and our toddler can sit up taller with the height adjustment option of the head rest. For those complaining about the short length of the buckle( which was my concern after reading reviews) there is a position adjust for that too ( read page 35 😉). The safety railing on the sides are very sturdy. It's also comfortable. No more fuss when being out into the carseat! All in all it meets our standards.

One of the best car seats
This is our second Britax Allegiance, just got it for my husband's vehicle. These are sturdy, easy to adjust and install. They are just well made and easy to work with. Our kids are comfortable and secure.I like how the adjustment is the big red button on the front of the seat. There is no doubt that this seat is worth the money especially after also using Graco and Safety 1st convertible seats.

Best convertible car seat yet
After watching the install video’s online, this car seat was super easy to install and most importantly, feels super sturdy compared to our old car seat (Graco Extend2fit). Another added plus is the straps are smooth when adjusting and tightening, no getting stuck it caught. I had this issue with the Graco after switching from rear facing to front facing. I really like that the bottom latch anchors are individually attached to the seat. It made for a better fit. The design of the front racing back anchor is also helpful in that it doesn’t get twisted when installing. My toddler loves this car seat and the peace of mind it gives me is definitely worth it.

Love this carseat!
We got this carseat after our baby outgrew her infant seat and we love it! It has a great safety rating, was reasonably priced, and love that it is made in the USA! Also love the fact that there is Velcro on the inside of the seat to hold the straps in place while loading the baby! I drive a Buick Encore and it is definitely nice that it is not too bulky.

Incredibly easy to use, makes me feel confident my baby is safe
I just returned my Extend2Fit because it seemed no matter what I did, I could not get my daughters straps securely against her chest. This carseat is a breeze to adjust! The straps loosen to adjust so smoothly and tighten just as easily with the simple press of the lever. It was such a sigh of relief after having to fight with the Extend2Fit, and still not feeling like it was right. The manual says to be reclined all the way into the third position for rear facing, which was ridiculously easy just like everything else about this seat, so ignore the review that says "does not recline," because the "RECLINE" bar is bright red and says "RECLINE" and its right under babies feet.Anyways, the best part about this carseat is no more threading the straps at babys shoulders. There is a panel along the inside of the back of the seat that clicks up and down adjusting the height of the straps for you. It could not be any easier. The one thing I had to do was remove the gray flexible chest straps because my daughter is small at 20 pounds ( she is barely 18 months) and they prevented the straps from firmly fitting against her belly. The booklet said those were really more designed for when your child is forward facing anyways, as they are an extra shock absorbing safety feature in case of impact. This seat is incredibly simple to adjust, and as a mother I feel so much more confident knowing that my daughter will be secure in it. It was more expensive that the Extend2Fit but knowing what I know now I would have not even wasted time looking for a sale price on that one, and would have gotten this instead.

Good, but there’s better.
Looks very sturdy and strong. Unfortunately my baby dislikes it. The buckle by the crotch seems to hurt him every time. I loosen it up and still. If that piece was any different, this would be an excellent car seat.

Very easy install, compact fit.
I absolutely love this car seat. I’ve owned and installed 6 different brands and models of car seats, and this is the easiest one to install. I even prefer it over the Britax Clicktight, which I was surprised about. This car seat is very sturdy, and is compact enough to fit rearfacing and reclined in my little Mazda 3, which I’ve struggled to do with other car seats. My only complaint is the straps seem to be slightly too close together near my toddler’s shoulders. She has complained about them rubbing her neck. And the shoulder pads are a little bulky. I tried taking them off, but then the straps rub against her neck. Overall, she likes the seat, and I feel confident she’s riding safe in the car.

BIG BANG FOR THE BUCK!
So happy with this purchase! ! Britax NEVER disappoints! I’ve always been a car seat snob and always do diligent research before purchasing. The safety ratings for this seat rank up there with the $4-500 car seats. I have full faith that this seat will keep my grand baby safe. I was also able to safely use the Swedish style rear facing tether with this car seat. I had my installation method checked by a professional before actually using the seat with my grandson. Although the manual for my car does not mention this method, she whole-heartedly agreed with me that my installation was safer than not using the tether while rear facing.
