This doorbell has had the effect of making me feel better about our culture's mad fixation on technological advances. This replaced a hard-wired unit that was old and fussy, and the hardest parts of the installation were deciding where to plug in the receiver, and which of the 52 tones to use. Well, and what to do about the now superfluous wires hanging outside our front door. Otherwise, this is a no-brainer of an improvement. Took all of 10 minutes to install and set up, and we love to show it off to visitors. SadoTech likely can expect some additional business from our friends and family, and even the occasional Morman and Jehovah Witness who stop by, albeit in vain.

I wanted to get a doorbell because I thought it would be easier for UPS, USPS, and FED EX to push a button to let me know that my package has arrived instead of knocking and leaving it out there for hours on end for some to steal it, but no apparently they can't even be bothered to ring the door bell even though there's a clear sign telling them to! It's not this wonderful doorbells fault though. The pizza man, and any guests I have, even my husband can't resist ringing the doorbell. The reciever works far away from the door. We have it in our bedroom and when the bell gets pushed it definitely rings. I love it!

I wished I bought this a couple years ago. works well and has 52 different chimes and music. It has christmas music, Happy Birthday, and traditional bells. I bought this because I don't have a doorbell and I have a frontdoor, mudroom and another front door so when people knock, I can't hear it at all they usually have to call me to let me know they are here. The doorbell receiver is position so if I am in the bathroom or living room I can clearly hear the doorbell!! I used the stick tape provided to mount to the outside of house, and it's been thru 3 rainstorms and has held up!

The wireless doorbell was a good buy for me. First of all it has a loud max volume that can be easily heard in a 1,000 square foot home. It has over 50 rings including a few melodies. It is made of plastic and appears to be well made. When you press the doorbell the ring around the button lights up blue letting you know its functioning. The receiver/bell also lights up when the door bell is pressed, which gives you a visual warning that someones at the door. Overall i recommend this product to anyone who has no existing doorbell and wants a affordable quality, quick solution.

Pleasantly impressed with this unit! When I ordered this doorbell, I was not sure if I even needed it, really. We own an 1,100 square foot house on one level, so I am not very far from the front door at any one time. The only reason I decided to buy a doorbell was because for some reason people don't want to injure their knuckles knocking hard enough for anyone to hear. We have a steel front door and I guess the sound doesn't carry very well unless you pound on the door, I have had to repeatedly ask people to knock harder because I didn't hear them. Thus, the doorbell.

Our wired doorbell stopped working due to a wiring problem somewhere between the transformer and the ringer. I read the reviews for this wireless unit and bought it. After receiving it, we hooked it up and found some sour notes being played when we tested it. I read the instructions again about resetting the unit so we did, chose a different chime pattern and now the unit is working properly. This ringer was well worth the price and beats having to climb into the attic to run new wiring. We like it and I’m happy with this product.

We have one of those intercom systems through the house and it doesn't work so the doorbell doesn't. (I don't know why, we bought the house that way...) Didn't think it was worth fixing but didn't want to be without a doorbell. This is cool. I have the bell stuck outside my door, and the receiver on the second floor. Has a catchy Mozart tune I love which is sooo much better than an annoying ding. Also my cats don't run and hide when I ring it for fun so that's a plus. ;) Got the blue color, I love it! :)
