Good product, don't overdose
My bottle arrived intact and works well. Tastes like the way moth balls smell. Not sure if it's placebo effect but my energy level and mood improved within a few uses. This is not a reflection on the product or seller but I noticed people are taking several drops. I started off with two per day and quickly moved to 3. However, after researching on the net, this is way too much. Perhaps because it's being pushed by influencers and it results in more sales if we go through more product but you can really hurt yourself taking too much. I am going to dial my dosage back to once drop just twice a week. Here's some info I found on the net: Dosing Lugol’s iodine can be rather tricky, because a couple of the thyroid “experts” have recommended as many at 20 drops per day. Let’s do some math, here. If using Lugol’s 2%, there are about 2.5 MILLIGRAMS (mg) of iodine in each drop. The RDA is 150 MICROGRAMs (mcg) per day. How do these 2 compare? Let’s begin with the basics: 1 mg = 1000 mcg; you read that correctly. 1 MILLIGRAM is the same amount as one THOUSAND MICROGRAMS. The recommended daily intake of iodine is 150 mcg, NOT 150 mg. Dosing just 1 drop of Lugol’s 2% provides 2.5 MG of iodine – that is 2500 mcg of iodine PER DROP – meaning that just 1 drop of Lugol’s 2% iodine provides a dose nearly 17 TIMES the recommended daily allowance. Now remember when I mentioned that some experts have published recommendations to take up to 20 drops per day??? Taken over weeks to months to years, this CAN result in overdosing of iodine, which CAN and DOES impact thyroid health, and can contribute to multiple problems including thyroid damage and liver stress.

Good Quality. Nice buy.
This has worked out very well. I use only a few drops a day and the bottle, dropper and product have lasted well. Good decision.

Don't ignore your body
Benefits are satisfying, I was put on synthetic thyroid meds because I kept waking up in a cold sweat-drenched state every night after giving birth to my child. (Plenty of medical professionals) They didn't dig deep enough to the root of the problem, I suffered from the effects of the thyroid medication. I was performing my own due diligence and research of my body( let that settle in..). I ordered a book called Iodine and why we need it. After 3 days of in depth reading, I tried a comically simple test. Rub a dime size amount of Iodine on your skin, watch how long it takes for the color to be absorbed. Really?, that's it; no way it could be that simple.. (not advisable to overturn doctors, they did go to school for the MD that follows their name). I tried it and the color was absorbed within 3 minutes, my Iodine levels were severely depleted. 2 drops per day until it was in my system then 1 drop each day for a month. My medical folks weren't hearing me, I decided to stop taking rx of thyroid meds during this month. I went for a thyroid panel after this and magically I didn't have a thyroid problem.

Amazing Results...
I was browsing around, and in a fit of nostalgia, I wondered whether anyone still used iodine for cuts. I came across reviews and information that made me sit up and take notice. I have had eczema and psoriasis (sebhorric(Sp) dermatitis on my hands and feet that make them crack and bleed at the worst, and just make them sensitive usually) for the past 20 years. I've tried everything, and hate using ointments that make me feel like my hands are covered in crap, and lotions that haven't worked. I have very sensitive skin, and conditions such as ingrown hairs, and more recently acne, have been plaguing me. (I had my eyebrows threaded and said 'yes' to the lotion they put on afterward, which resulted in a nice acne raccoon mask for the past 6 weeks. It just got bad and never seemed to get better.)After reading all the feedback about the effect on skin conditions, I thought I'd give it a try. I also have been having a bit of trouble losing weight after having my daughter, but admittedly, that has a lot to do with lifestyle. I have slightly thinning hair attributable to age. I have struggled with insomnia in varying degrees for most of my life, but recently it hit a point of affecting my life in a substantial way. I'm 40, so I imagine part of that is due to hormonal imbalances as I age. So, coincidentally, the day before I started taking this, I donated blood. The iodine solution they put on my arm (Two times, standard protocol) was completely gone a few hours after donating. It hadn't stained into the band-aid or cotton that I could see. While I didn't use this as conclusive evidence that I had deficiency, I feel it bears mentioning. My Thyroid levels, tested a couple months ago, were within normal range but a little on the hypo side. (Articles I have read indicated that the normal range may not be completely indicative of hypo or hyper thyroid conditions, and that additional tests could be given) Within a day of taking my first 5 drop dose (in a large glass of water - it tastes like a doctor's office smells.) My hands started to feel.... different. They seemed to be healing from the inside out. My skin felt less irritated, and just healthier. My feet seemed to have a pretty profound affect, although the sensitivity wasn't as pronounced on them to begin wiht. A patch of eczema in my inner arm started to not be so angry and itchy, and the acne on my face started to clear.(not only no new blemishes, it appears that the existing ones were healing better) I lost 6 pounds in two weeks, without a change in my diet. After reading up on the topic and being afraid of taking too much (I didn't exhibit all the symptoms of hypo), I scaled back on the dosage after a couple weeks, (down to just my multivitamin) and noticed my hands started to feel dry and cracked again. I never had any body temperature issues, but perhaps weighing more compensated for that. I also read that there are components, when taken with iodine, that change the makeup and efficacy. I've not had a huge energy shift that I can tell, however I am getting more done. (that sounds strange, but I never felt lethargic) Mental clarity for me was never an issue, so I don't see a perceptible difference here either. So, I'm gonna recommend that you talk to your Doctor, but I have had some pretty great favorable results from using this product. I've heard that Vitamin C (citric Acid) does not play well with this stuff, so putting it into something containing that to mask the flavor probably isn't a good idea. I took 5 drops in a large glass of water first thing every morning. Edit: a few more notes. I live in Michigan, which evidently experienced an environmental disaster in 1973-1976, where a great deal of farm animals feed was mixed with a harmful chemical, resulting in increased PBB levels for 9 out of 10 Michiganders. I was a milk drinking toddler at the time, so it's likely that I've experienced some effect from that. Those symptoms can be alleviated with iodine therapy. While this doesn't say that anyone else won't have good results, my individual experience is slightly unique. That said, it's December 22' I am sleeping well, and have a much more even appetite, so I'm still losing a little weight. I take a five drops every other day and still feel pretty great.

My body needs it ❤️
Ok I have found out that this is great for woman who have got sore breasts. Lack of iodine in the body can sometimes be related to this and for ppl like myself with no insurance trying to treat themselves. Rather than think the worst. I started using this and withing days I already felt the difference. I don't write reviews unless I think it's truly necessary. This is helpful. Hope it helps you. Also I teetered on brands. This has been around long enough that I feel it's trustworthy . The sillyest review mentions witches potion 🫢😳👀. Im a firm believer in Jesus and I do not perform any Evil crafts so I even looked up the name . Its not associated to any strange nonsense. Hope that helps too. Its just iodine used to treat many symptoms as needed. For me it's something my body was lacking and I love the fact that it helps to purify water because I can't afford the most expensive bottled water and these days seems that anything I can afford is contaminated according to Utube 🫢so a few drops of this clears the water from toxins 😁 good for me 👍🎉🤗. Also it goes a long way. If you use it spearingly as needed it should last you 6 months to a year from what I have read.

Stunned — highly recommend!
I started doing research on why my hands were always so cold, then that led me to why my hair was thinning then to thyroid problems and here I am reviewing iodine. I bought this stuff with high hopes & absolutely no idea how to use it. I got it, put a whole droppers worth in a bottle of water & chugged it. I didn’t taste it at all and honestly didn’t think anything of it until about an hour later and my hands felt…different. I am 41, I live in Alabama & it’s usually pretty warm here. The past year my hands and feet have been alarmingly cold. But if you’re anything like me, you almost done want to know what’s wrong with you so you avoid blood tests. I did more research on dosage of iodine, which is very, very difficult to find. Dr. Berg says 2-4 drops but in Japan they take 8-10x that amount (in seaweed & seafood, not supplement) and they have profoundly better health especially in relation to estrogen. Anyway, I now take 7 drops daily and I have noticed an improvement. My brain fog is gone, my hair isn’t as brittle, nails are much stronger, my skin isn’t as crepey on my chest. The heels of my feet are SMOOTH!! My lips aren’t nearly as dry & I don’t feel dead tired all the time. My hands and feet are the same temps as my body & it’s just honestly shocking how big of a difference this stuff has made in my life. My 12 year old son has had eczema all his life & after giving him this (4 drops daily) his legs have cleared up considerably & his face is no longer red. My whole family has benefitted from iodine & I Highly recommend you give it a try too.

Great Product
I have many allergies so what I like about this is that it is pure without anything extra. I use 2-3 drops topically every morning and have had no reactions. I have not taken it orally yet so I can't talk about the taste, but for me I think topically will be just fine.
