The Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife: Collecting Britain's Most Iconic Dagger

Good bit of history and thinking behind this iconic blade pattern.
Learn about the history that led to the development of this famous combat knife, its various iterations, and its worldwide deployment. Sort of the UK's answer to the Kabar in some ways, just more pointy. This work is full of quality photographs of the many variations of this knife; great for the martial collector as well as the person looking to learn more about the pattern. Blades, handle variations, sheaths, markings, and post war productions all have chapters covering that information. This is a good quality hard back book perfect for the military history library shelf. A must have work if you love this knife.
