My third grader loves to draw and her art teacher was thrilled to see her interpretations of fine art through the Scratch n' Sketch books.

My 9-year-old daughter was entertained by her scratch and sketch book for hours. She worked very hard to copy the pictures, and it was fun to see her show off the results. She had fun and learned about famous works of art in the process. I think 9 is about the right age for these - young children will struggle to copy the pictures and get frustrated. We really liked the American history one as well. Getting her more for Christmas.

Parents, be aware that this book is not like the other scratch books that have a pattern already showing on the page that allows your child to scratch off (trace) and reveal a pretty picture underneath. This book contains BLANK pages that you are supposed to use your own artistic skill (ha!) to copy a picture that is shown on the opposite page. My daughter ordered this to entertain herself while undergoing chemo treatments because she had so very much enjoyed the other books in the series. She was so disappointed to receive this and it was not like the others. I felt so bad for her. And it’s not really worth the hassle to send back for an exchange. Just be aware of what you are buying!

I'm in my 40s and even I enjoyed this drawing book. Great colors, heavy duty pages and nice sturdy pencil.

Bought 2 of them as a nostalgic gift - love how they came. They are hardcover and come with a little wooden tool that can be attached (via built in elastic). Because it's so detailed I would suggest it for a more mature child/adult (: It also doesn't leave as much residue as I was expecting.

I love Scratch Art. It helps pass the time during stay at home.

This was purchased as a gift for my 11 year old daughter - she reads the interesting information about different artists as she does the scratching. Excellent

Lo compré para una niña de 9 años y le encantó.En un lado viene una pequeña biografía del pintor y el nombre del cuadro con su dibujo en negro. En el otro lado hay una página toda negra en la que hay que ir copiando el dibujo de la página anterior con una especie de lápiz que trae el cuaderno. El dibujo quedará de colorines, de color plata o dorado.En total vienen 20 pintores.Al final vienen unas hojas vacías para hacer bocetos.

ello come strutturato , ma non era quello che cercavo, non ha le linee guida, quindi devi praticamente copiare/grattare il disegno a fianco a mano..un disastro. Errore mio, ma non era specificato.
