Great for kitchen use. My wife always buys terry cloth dish towels. I don't like it. The big towels are only good for drying and the smaller dish rags are always wet and gross because you can't rinse the kitchen gunk out of terry cloth very effectively. And neither works very well for wiping counters and such.There is a reason they use these type of clothes commercially. Because they work well for all that. They rinse well and they dry quickly. The are absorbent enough to dry dishes and hands and they are a good size and texture for wiping down counters. And great for wiping you hands or little messes as you cook. I like the simple look and the white color makes it easy to see if they need to go to the wash. And they are cheap enough that you can replace them when they start to get worn. Saving me a lot in paper towels too when it comes to drying my hands.

Very happy to be able to get this set. Bought a set of green couple year ago and still using them. Need a different color and bought a different brand. What a mistake. This set has way better quality. Hope this set will last a long time as well. Unfortunately seems this brand is no longer available on Amazon now.

I bought these towels to use as part of bridal shower favor (folded the towel into a pocket as pictured). Liliane was the only company that offered and extensive array of colors. I was specifically looking for a pale pink stripped towel and Liliane had it. After reading many of the positive reviews, I ordered them. They were exactly what I was looking for – great quality look and feel at a very reasonable price. I not only used these towels as favors but I use them as liners for baskets as well as their intended use as a great towel/cloth around the house. The towels themselves are very absorbent and soft (not scratchy) and do not leave any lint behind when drying dishes. As others have said, they are 100% cotton so you would expect them to shrink a bit. I was pleasantly surprised that they shrunk very little and still kept their shape (see picture). I was quite happy with this purchase and would buy them again.The customer service I received was FANTASTIC. After I received my order, Lisa from Liliane followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. I was impressed with this personal outreach. I had ordered 8 packages of pale pink striped towels. 4 of the packages were perfect as pictured on the website. The other 4 packages had more of a reddish colored stripe. Because these were being used as a shower favor, I needed them to all be the same pale pink for uniformity. I replied to Lisa’s follow-up email explaining the situation. Lisa from Liliane replied to my email immediately and apologized for the error. She searched for the pale pink stiped towels in their inventory and shipped the packages to me via priority mail the very next day so that I would have them on time for my shower. I want to send a big thank you to Lisa for her expeditious help on getting me the correct color. The favors looked beautiful and were a big hit! Thank you for a great product and your excellent customer service.

These were just what I was looking for. I wanted a lot (this is a pack of 13) of absorbent towels I could use to dry my hands, my dishes, and my counters with. That I could wipe my dirty hands on while cooking, wipe down a potato with, and wipe up a quick spill. And then, best of all, throw them in the wash with some bleach so they remain towels I don't mind guests seeing (while I put out fresh ones, hence why I want a lot of them). These are absorbent, not huge (read the measurements and know they shrink) and lint free.These are NOT large, thick, or decorative towels. If you've ever worked in a cafe or commercial kitchen, you've seen towels like these. They make equally great kitchen towels as they do cleaning rags. I loved them from the moment I opened the package. Already all of my old, stained, mismatched, mostly not that absorbent towels have been relegated to the rag pile. Get these! Unless you're looking for something that resembles a bath towel, then look elsewhere.UPDATE: A few months later I can say that bleach no longer gets these white. I haven't like, cleaned a car or anything with them, just regular kitchen stuff like wiping my hands, and not even very stain-y things. They are still very absorbent though and lint free, just no longer as attractive. If they came in brown they'd be perfect. Subtracting a star for this.

I don't write a ton of reviews. But I had to write about these towels. I had always used terry kitchen towels, which used to be very easy to find. I realized that after lots of use and bleaching, my 10+ year old kitchen towels were looking sad. I went to replace them and to my surprise, good, basic, not too heavy, not too light terry towels were nowhere to be found (I am now the proud owner of some way too heavy towels). I saw these on Amazon and figured I would give them a try. They are fantastic! Very absorbent, do not leave any lint behind, the perfect weight. Some reviewers have mentioned the small size, but I find it a very practical size for my purposes. This might sound strange, but I find them a joy to use, particularly for drying glassware. The price is very fair, so I have ordered more to ensure that I have a good stash. Good, practical, solid kitchen basic. Am unusually happy with this purchase.

They are kitchen towels, but they are so soft, and you can bleach them, and I still have many unused ones after many years.

I've only used this for the past couple months, so I can't speak to quality in the long run. However, after the first wash, these held up to their shape and size very well (vs. some generic ones that I've purchased through Ikea or Kitchen Stuff Plus). Great value for the price and with this many on hand, I can switch out the towels more often before I need to do a laundry load.

Nice weight- not too heavy, but absorbs water. Good fabric for shining glasses. Bleaches nicely.
