Review "This book is a must-read for every parent and child! Abigail breaks down foundational life principles into simple easy to understand steps that are valuable for both kids and adults. I love the Super Kid creed and the call to action for kids to step up and become the best version of themselves. And the fact that it comes from a 9-year old child allows my children to connect even more deeply with the message." Terrific!! Adults should read it too and take it to heart." -Sandy Swain, MD Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO, Board Member About the Author Abigail Perez is a 9-year old girl with a big heart and a creative imagination. She lives in Texas with her parents, Philip and Elizabeth and her two younger siblings Cameron and Ellie. Together their family name spells PEACE. She believes superheroes are not fantasy characters because inside each person is a superhero waiting to ignite. As someone who has been personally impacted by bullying at a young age, her mission is to put an end to bullying by being a voice of hope and encouraging others to discover their innate super kid powers. Abigail is very active and involved in her community. She loves playing the piano, the great outdoors, rock climbing, roller blading, acting, jiu-jitsu, and tennis. Her favorite food is avocado toast! When she is not reading or writing a book, you can find her exploring the National Parks with her family and creating ways to support her two favorite foundations: The House of Shine and The Front Row Foundation.

Beautiful
Really inspiring. Wish I could have read this earlier as I'm just learning to do this now I'm 41 but of course life has just begun for me as I'm a 1 year old adult!

Religious (Christian) Content
Cute book, but be aware of your audience. I bought this intending to give as a gift to the child of a Jewish relative & was surprised & disappointed to see a few pages in that it advises kids to "read the Bible or other inspiring work." I didn't see any indication in the description that this book favored Christianity or any religion. Naming the Bible specifically insinuates an obvious preference, and "other inspiring work" doesn't do equal justice to primary texts of other religious traditions (if that was the intent in that sentence). I have no issue with a kids' book indicating a religious preference, but I was not expecting that when I selected this one and would've appreciated some mention of Bible references in the description.

She’s definitely a super kid
Love the rhyming in the book tat goes along with the creative pictures. Reminds me a little of Dr. Seuss that I used to read to my daughter when she was a kid. I am sure that the children reading this book will strive to join the club and will make this world a kinder better place

For kids and for anyone!
I am so inspired by young author Abigail Perez! As an educator I am always hoping to empower my students to take their dreams into their own hands. In a world of constant consumption, to see a young person step into the role of producer is a great example for all of us. Any elementary teacher can cause a major shift in their classroom culture by reading this book and building touchstone lessons off the clear message it presents. Who doesn't want a classroom full of super kids!

Empowering book for all ages and races
If you're thinking about getting this book, just do it!!! This book is transformative! It's such a sweet and inspiring book written by a child. There are so many fundamental life lessons covered in this book that were presented in such a fun and easy way to understand. I love the rhymes and illustrations and my kids easily recite them as they talk about their day at the dinner table. This is a book that should be in the hands of every child and is a great spring board for deeper discussions with topics like resiliency, empathy, grit, compassion, and kindness. In addition, this book encourages kids to take care of their mind, body and soul embracing differences in culture and background. I love how she included kids with special needs.
