Nice big skillet
I bought this as a replacement, my other one suffered some unknown torture I assume, it was bent like maybe it was dropped, idk, this really is a sturdy skillet, big enough to use if you are adding items to a dish. The lid is also nice. I have the whole set and they are wonderful, they last forever (unless tortured) and nothing ever sticks!

Wonderful size and easy to cook with
Had one of these before, but it was time to replace. Love the glass lid and size of the pan. Food cooks evenly. I'm glad it was available through Amazon. Not available in stores since the problems in the press. Too bad because it is a good product. I don't put the pan in the dishwasher, but will put the lid in the dishwasher. Handle fits well in the hand, doesn't rotate. It isn't too heavy.

Even cooking, easy to clean
Good buy! It is attractive to look at but even more it is easy to clean! I have not had anything stick to it yet and it cleans up with just a wipe of the rag. It cooks evenly. I ended up buying the entire set and all the pots/pans have the same review.

I forgot how good new pots can be
I am having so much more fun cooking. These pots are sturdy, distribute heat very well and needs less heat to get the job done . They are super easy to clean. I hope they stand up well but only had them since Christmas so cannot say yet. Lovin' these pots. I bought a set plus a few special ones I really need like this big deep fry pan ...this is my go to pan because I do lots of skillet suppers.

I love this pan
I love this pan. The lavender color prompted me to choose this pan in the first place. The helper handle is a great addition because I use this pan for one pot meals or frying up 2 lbs of hamburger. The weight of the extra food makes it difficult to pick up with one hand, but the helper handle lets me use two hands to lift the pan. The lid fits snugly and the knob doesn't get hot -- so I can lift the lid without a hot pad. A wonderful pan.

the little handle was just a little loose and easily fixed. My feeling are that I should NOT ...
I wanted this item as I have the set and wanted the larger piece...BUT, upon arrival, the metal strip around the glass lid was bent inward and would NOT fit the pan correctly, then, besides that, the long handle appeared that something had fell on it and started stripping the screw...My son was finally able to tighten it some but I worry about the future on this issue after many uses??? the little handle was just a little loose and easily fixed. My feeling are that I should NOT have received an item that had a damaged kid and a damaged long handle...I feel it is in your hands now! Sincerely, shy

It SUCKS! NOTHING like Paula's older cookware!
I owned an older version of this pan for over a decade. It was super heavy duty and held up AMAZINGLY well! I LOVED it. Unfortunately, the fire-demon that is my mother-in-law decided to use a sharpened metal cooking fork in the pan to stab at bacon, like it owed her money. Ruined the bottom after ten years without incident. I purchased this one to replace it, and it is COMPLETE garbage. Way thinner and more flimsy than Paul's older cookware. The pan was so flimsy, the lid didn't fit on it properly because the entire, round circumference became quite askew and bent during shipping. I returned it and bought a Calphalon pan with similar dimensions. It's just as heavy as my former Paula pan, but it doesn't make my heart sing. Don't waste your money, and keep your in-laws out of your kitchen

Yes, buy this pan.
I love this pan.Great weight, and the ease of food release, phenomenal. No matter what's cooked in it, (even 5#'s of fudge), cleanup was a breeze. I leave it on my stove as my go to, it's that attractive!
