It has all of the things the others don't.
I ride my bike to work and my boss makes terrible coffee, so I must bring my own. I carefully read the reviews on the other cup holders, and saw at least one major flaw on all of the other products. After reading the description for this product, I took a risk buying it with no reviews. I'm glad I did. This one has none of the problems that the other ones do. If you're wondering which bicycle cup holder you need, this is it.It attaches securely with a tool and it has grippy material between the handlebar and the cup holder. I've been riding with it for about two weeks now and have had no problems with loosening or movement. And I ride some pretty rough roads. It is easy to attach with one allen wrench. It has a grippy foam on the inside of the cup holder so it securely holds many sized coffee cups. This is really the only one you need to buy if you are carrying coffee on your bike. I love it.

Not for most handle bars
Was more concerned about the diameter of the actual cup holder, which was fine. Seems well constructed. Unfortunately I don't understand what type of handle bar this was designed to attach to. The images must all be photo shopped because the only thing this fit on was the cross bar of my child's bmx style handle bars. Forget a modern tapered bar. I measured the inside diameter of the clip and you could "maybe" get this on a 7/8" bar and still have a couple of threads engaged in the lock screw.Edit: Nix "seems well constructed". Gap between the clip and the cup holder since one is flat and the other is curved. Welds have white residue around them coming from the gap like its oxidizing somewhere. Down from 2 stars to 1.

Sturdy, but does not hold drink without tilting down!!
So I bought this to use on my cruiser bike. It is built well and fits on my handlebars just fine, BUT.... the rubber piece it includes (to add traction and keep it upright, when fastened to the handlebars,) is NOT 'sticky.' It's a cheap plastic piece, not sticky rubber, so no matter how much I tighten this holder to my metal handlebars, once a drink is put in it, it just slips down and won't keep it upright. Very disappointed. I'll have to go to a hardware store to find something to replace this plastic strip with something that is actually functional. Or maybe I'll just return it. Expected more for the $$.

screw stips easily...
Doesn't tighten easily...rubber grommet frustrating as it moves and slips as you tighten.......still not tight enough to hold a cup up.....the company tells me to try it on the fatter part of the bar ...It was on the fattest part of the bar... Have not received a replacement they promised me....been a couple of months...

Sleek modern look
I had to use different thicker/stickier rubber strip to get this holder to stay in place with a drink in it. Overall I'm happy with the minimalist look of it and hope it holds up to many years of use.

Does the job.
Bought two of these for our bikes and they work great with a personal water bottle, (doesn't work with most bottled water)

It works
It works for Starbucks but not cabs or water bottles.
