CorrosionX Lubricant and Penetrant 6 oz.

I read about this stuff on other sites and how good it is. I flew a drone into a tree and it was stuck there for over a month. It rained and snowed during that time. The drone finally fell down and before powering it up, I took it apart and sprayed all electronic components with corrosion x. I powered it up and it worked like it was brand new.

This is from the same company that sells the auto polish Rejex, so I had high hopes for it. However, after using it on my garage doors, I would ONLY use this outside the house because the smell is terrible. The only way I can describe what it smells like is, "being downwind from a chemical factory". It doesn't cover up the rust, like rust reformer does, but it evidently keeps it from getting worse. I tried to take off the rust with wire brushes and steel wool before using it, but that took the garage door down to the bare metal. I really needed something like rust reformer to cover up the metal in a paint color. I doubt they make that product in the color I need for my doors, though.

I bought this primarily for my saltwater rods and reels. I have used it on several other items as well including already rusted items. Very happy with the product

This is a must have for anyone with electronics near water, especially near salt water.Our RC boating group relies heavily on this product, we would have a hard time running our boats at our local ocean pond without CorrosionX.I cannot tell you how many times a flooded boat's electronics, especially the receiver has been saved by the prior application or emergency application of this magic spray.Before running a new receiver, servo, etc. near water for the first time, give them a good squirt of this spray. Should they become wet or flooded, they will be saved by this spray. Should your electronic device get wet, rinse it off with fresh clean water, and then reapply CorrosionX to protect it.Also works great on rusted components, will clean and remove the rust, especially after repeated use.

I recommend this product. It was recommend to me for care of fishing reels against saltwater corrosion.It can be used on guns, bearings or anything else that requires cleaning or lubricated. Won't gum up over time like other products.

Works great. My GPS unit was misbehaving - random reboots etc. Closed inspection revealed rust on the contacts. I tried WD40 first, but didn't work. Then sprayed a little Corrosion X on the contacts and it started working perfectly. Great for electronics.

It did the job , I'll keep the it handy.

Im a locksmith, this has become vital. Forget wd40... this stuff bubbles like peroxide and eats away greases oils and even though it wont fully eliminate rust it does a very good job at making things rust work again. Its not a cure all as there are some things that become too far gone, but for all other things... theres this. Save me and my friends dozens of times.
