Modetro Sports Ankle Brace with Adjustable Strap - Compression Sleeve Socks for Ligament Damage - Ankle Support Achilles Tendonitis Plantar Fasciitis Foot Support

I have been struggling with a swollen ankle and pain in my foot following a fracture to my fibula. The fracture healed perfectly but the lack of activity for 8 weeks while my leg was encased in plaster and a boot affected the mobility in my ankle & foot. Not helped by the fact that my foot is weak anyway as a result of major surgery as a child (many years ago) to correct a club foot. I have been wearing the support sleeve (without ankle strap) since removing the boot and it is definitely making a difference. The compression and support around the ankle has reduced the pain and swelling significantly, which in turn has improved the mobility in my foot. Its not quite back to what it was but its improving by the day. I particularly like the fact that my weak ankle is completely encased and supported, but without compromising mobility. So much so that when it is fully recovered from the fracture I intend to wear the support permanently to give additional protection and stability. The supports (you get two in a pack, with one ankle strap) are made from a breathable stretchy material, which is tight but very comfortable, and does not hinder the wearing of socks or shoes. So much so that you forget you are wearing them. They also wash without any degradation whatsoever to the compression, or fit. I can also vouch for the after-sales support, which is amazing. The stitching on one of the socks started to come adrift. I contacted the supplier, Modetro Retail Ltd, who very quickly, and without argument, despatched a FOC replacement. That's service!

I hardly ever give a five. However, you need to know, this product has worked a treat. It is helping with the stability of my ankle when I walk and keeps it warm at night, helping repair my damaged ankle. It is very comfortable, I can wear it all day and not know that I have it on. if it was not for a painful ankle I would simply forget it. Even when walking you cannot feel a ridge under the sole of your foot. brilliant. Now, for ease of use, just slip it over your foot, I mean what could be simpler. If you have problems with your ankle(s) buy this product. I have size 10 and a wide foot, large fitted perfectly, not to tight nor loose.

It's fabulous. You get two under support slips with it so that's one on and one in the wash. It's supportive, flexible and comfortable and you can adjust it. I've got slim feet and ankles and I thought it would be too loose but that isn't the case as the design of the material of the strap appears to be supportive whatever the stretch without sagging. You can put it over a normal sock too if you just want the support around the house at low impact without needing the extra support of the slip on under sleeve which is also supportive. I can get some shoes, trainer and loose fitting boots over it too as it's not too bulky if you position the velcro in the top middle of your foot. I twisted my ankle and couldn't get my foot flat without pain and making it worse. On Prime delivery this item is an ankle saver, I didn't have to go out to the BP or get my foot strapped up with unsightly medical bandages. For a more severe sprain I'd advise something more robust initially but for a less severe one or when youve had a couple of weeks in a supportive boot and want to get going again this is a brilliant and great quality solution.

Having suffered with achilles pain a few months back, I thought I was over it. Unfortunately, after a couple of very chilly runs around Christmas, I started to feel pain again. I seriously didn't need this as I had an event coming up and also needed to increase my general activity to shed my 'winter plumage'. Ordered this item according to the sizing guide in the images. Fit was perfect; went on easily, provides support without feeling oppressive. You receive two identical support sleeves plus an additional strap. Getting a pair turned out to be really handy, as I could use one for training, keeping the second one fresh and unstretched for my event. Using this support I managed to continue training without any pain during or after. My event was a family traditional football game, pretty rough, more like rugby. I survived the full duration of the game, and to be honest, everything else hurt except my achilles! Still wary of potential injury, I still wearing during exercise, and also wear one in bed the night following, until my foot has warmed up the next morning. I haven't needed to use the additional support strap. For comparison, at the same time I ordered an RDX product (a previously used brand). Despite getting the L/XL it was way too small and could only just get it over my toes! I'll be looking for Modetro first should I have any future requirements, and will certainly recommend to friends and colleagues.

I purchased this as I had broken my metatarsals and my foot had swollen greatly and needed support I read some of the review and thought it would be perfect however the sock part was a really odd shape with the foot near the toes being a regular size but the were you have your ankle was massive for me and rubbed when wearing the strap too In the end I just wore the strap for support which helped slightly

Supporting my sprained ankle

I measured my foot as instructed above and came out in between sizes. I ordered the size up as also instructed but when they arrived they are way too big. The sock doesn't feel like it's giving any support or compression at all and the strap is too long to velcro together with any tightness...so useless really. I think their 'perfect fit' guarantee is a bit hit and miss, if you're willing to take a chance you might be lucky. Contacted the seller and they just suggest I return them for refund...not brilliant. Edit - am adding two stars to this as customer service have since been in touch again and have sent me a smaller size. This fits much better and I appreciate the gesture. So a bit of a hassle to begin with but ultimately good. If you're between sizes maybe contact them to check before ordering in the hope that you avoid this situation.

Great support while recovering from broken ankle. I wear women's size 6 shoe. Size Small fits perfectly. Very functional. Compression reduces swelling and still allows circulation to the toes. Sleeve provides good support and wrap is helpful for extra support. Low profile fits in my regular shoes. Sleeve is soft and comfortable with no seams or lumps.

This brace stays in place even over socks

The only reason why I was getting a four star is because I was able to use the straps. The compression sock is too tight. It’s too small. I wish I could fit it because that thing is wonderful. It has great compression in it. I got a small wear a size 6 shoe. I guess I need to get a medium. Well I just went to go and try to purchase the medium no thank you cause I’m not sure how that’s gonna fit. I just seen why the small is only three dollars and some change because it’s too small. They must’ve abnormally made it so they said let’s just put it in a cheap price and everybody’s gonna buy it.

I can't state enough how much I love this sock and the support strap! I had major surgery for a peroneal tendon repair in December '22, and was still having swelling issues until last week (September). When it was swollen, traditional compression socks were making it worse because they pinched above and below the peroneal tendon, forcing all the fluid there and causing so much pain. I've had this brace for a week and my foot looks almost completely normal every day after I take it off. No more swollen red skin or pain because the elastic strap can be wrapped exactly where I need it. I'm so grateful! I was seriously despairing that I'd always need to use a wheelchair for long distances -- I'll work my way up to them with this brace over the winter. I am going to suggest this to my surgeon to get for her practice. I have a very expensive Trilock brace that worked well immediately after the cast was off, but it doesn't fit well in regular shoes despite what it says on the box. This brace fits perfectly in a regular Rykä brand athletic shoe, regular width and it never hurts while I'm walking or sitting around in it, shoes on or off. Thank you so much for making this!
