Does the job
Buying this was a bit of a gamble as there are much more expensive alternatives, but it really does the job fine. In fact I used an existing network cable usually used to route our internet between our home and our business a floor below, maybe 30 metres of length, to test this. I found rich full sound with no noise interference apart from when turning on fluorescent lights in the same room. Delivery from Germany to Spain was around a week so I'm very pleased.

Basically sending signal through the Ethernet cabling, nothing special going on its not digital and won't work in a switch - but for a long cable run might be a good option!

Use with network cabling for convenient way of piping music round the house
We were getting dropouts when listening to music over wi-fi. Fixed with one of these adaptors plugged into the two-zone amp receiver in the lounge, the other in the conservatory on the little hi-fi in there. Patched through our LAN patch panel. Very convenient solution, making use of the universal flexibility of Cat 5e/6 cabling.

Perfect for long distances
Got me out of a nightmare situation.Previous used a Lindy product (3.5 at both ends) that did the same job, but this task called for a phono jack, just saved me the agro.

Works...sometimes
When I first installed it, it works so well! I was able to get my audio transferred over my home ethernet network so that it can play audio in my ceiling/wall speakers.However...for some reason, after a while it starts to have a high-pitched shriek that comes through the speakers.Right now, 930am, it is connected and working well. By 11am, the noise will start. There appears to be some sort of interference, which for some reason doesn't affect it when I first start using it in the day.
