Cute but strange proportions
I ordered this in both this and the smaller size. My daughter is nine, but small for her age. I was short on time for Christmas and she adores leopard print and these colors, or I would not have kept the robe. The quality is what you'd expect from a lower-priced import - decent but the fleece is on the thin side, the seams aren't perfect, etc. But what really bothers me is the strange proportions. I have a younger child who is a boy, who is almost the same size as my daughter. I ordered him a "boy" robe from another Amazon seller. I compared these two "girl" robes with his. BOTH of them were about five inches shorter, even though his is a size 7 (and fits him well - not long) and this is a 10-12. The sleeves were longer and wider. The 10-12 in this robe is only an inch longer than the 7-8, despite the fact that 10 year old girls are usually many inches taller than 7 or 8 year olds. I was really taken aback, I guess my daughter is just entering the age group where the clothes are innately sexualizing - e.g. it's assumed she should be showing more leg than her male sibling. Sad :(

Is the length adequate?!!!!
I thought this robe would be longer then it is. It looks like it should fit and 8 year old child. This was for my 13 year old granddaughter. She likes the Colours and how soft it is but she is growing rapid like all kids do. It is just way to short for a girl that is 12-14 years old.

Cheap quality
Does not fit true to size. My daughter is a 10/12 and this robe is at best a small 7/8. Very thin and poor quality. I think if it was washed all the stars would fall off.

Very short!
Very short but very soft. My daughter wouldn't let me return it but I would definitely not but again. It is comfortable for her. The length is the only issue.....

Lightweight
The color is very nice and it's good quality but was disappointed that it's not a thicker material. Robe feels lightweight and not as cuddly as I pictured it would be for my granddaughter. She loves it so it's going to be a keeper.

Great quality, fit & price
Purchased for my 6 year old’s birthday. The sleeves are slightly long, I did go up a size hoping to make it last as long as possible for her. She loves it! We all often wear robes at night and on the weekend - she wanted to be just like us. Which made this the perfect gift!
