I bought the empty shell to put my own headlamp in. Was a little difficult at first and it's held in with clips definitely was a little worried it wouldn't be secure, but once all together the headlamp won't budge its in very tight and it looks amazing worth every penny

Edit: less than a week later I'm starting to notice hairs and dust accumulating inside the led. I contacted the seller and they agreed to ship a replacement. Very fast response time, willing to make the situation right from the beginning; I wish all returns went this way. 5-star!I dont usually write reviews; that being said when some special precaution is necessary I will warn others. When I was clipping the led into the rim of the headlight (which is very difficult and requires tremendous patience and caution) It skipped out of position, and jumped around on a tiny almost unnoticeable dent (manufacturing defect) causing deep circular scratches on my brand new lens. So to prevent this, do one of three things; leave the protective film on the lens until it is successfully in the bucket (which may be difficult to remove once in), file any imperfections down on the rim where it clips in, or get some headlight polish because you'll need it.That being said, lets say you made my mistake and now are looking for how to fix... I wet sanded in circular motions with some 3000 grit. Got some mothers mag and aluminum polish (yes for metals, read the reviews people have used this for headlight lens) buffed that out (once again circular motions) and to finish some meguiars headlight polish (you guessed it, circular motions). This got the majority of the deep scratches out (mostly the wet sanding, be careful not to go too deep) to a point that I can live with.The brackets are garbage as others stated, throw them out and buy some that are specific to your fork size (I got some from bikemaster). I chose the chrome finish to avoid the imperfections many others noted for the black finish (as it is painted vs polished or chromed). It looks on par with my oem housing which I am very happy with. All in all, this is a very nice product once installed; almost looks like it could be factory (if my bike was 25 years newer lol) and you absolutely cannot beat the price. But for the love of God, be damn careful installing that led into the rim.

Overall quality is pretty good, light is bright. It was plug and play. I did have to bend the brakets a little more because of the shadows wider than normal suspension. Also had to reuse my oem bucket bolts for the brackets to connect. Besides that I love the head light no fuse problems at this moment. Wondering how it will protect my wiring in the rain hopefully well. Really love the new look gives the shadow a face lift.

I knew when I ordered this that it would be cheap. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality though. Chrome could be better, but at this price point it's okay. Was packaged well enough that it arrived undamaged. I may buy again for my next project. Maybe just in the painted version.

Huge improvement over stock, cheap and effective

Wouldn't recommend if you have to drive a night not that bright looks good but not bright enough. Will be taking it off.

Never had a chance to test it out. Product seemed of good quality but it was missing parts so I had to return it.

I haven't had it for long but Im happy with the product. I messaged the seller to ask about dimensions and they got back to me quickly. I needed a deeper housing to upgrade to an LED headlight and this did the trick. Fit my Virago XV1100 well.

Love that its all blacked out and the halo looks awesome. Very bright. Takes a bit of wiring work but that comes with any new electrical install. Makes it look more modern and bad ass.Installed on a 2019 Honda Rebel

Very bright and looks great on my bike. Harness connects directly on my '84 Honda VT500C, had to connect the red wire (which powers the LED ring) to another live wire. I never ride at night, so I never tried to see how well it does. Only problem, is the condensation inside the lens. Can't get rid of it since it's a sealed unit
