We inherited a projector from the previous owners. The picture quality and brightness started to get low, and eventually, the projector started to make a hissing sound and would not turn on. I troubleshooted (i.e., read the manual 8-) ), and decided that a new lamp is needed. I was right. After replacing it, the projected works flawlessly. Installation was a breeze. The price is right. My kids think mom (me) is a TV repair person.Hope this helps others!

The lamp seems to be the right fit for my proyector powerlite home cinema 3020. However, it only worked good for a few days, after that it has giving me problems. I first pulled out the lamp and placed it back in a few times and it started. Now I learned to just listen to the sound as it turns on if the fan blows hard when It first starts then I just open the lamp door so it turns off and try again I will keep on doing that until it makes a distinct low pitch beep which I think it's the sound most comments complain about. Every once in a while it will start on the first or second try and others after 5,10, 15 or 20 times because of this I no longer screw the lid back in. Yes, it's a headache but that's what happens when you foget to return a crapy product. I really don't use the theater room much so it's more when family comes over and wants the full surround sound experiance. It suck when my kids want to use it on there own because sometimes they can't get it to start. The lighting is not bad but going low fast for the amount of use. On my next lamp I will purchase the cheapest I can find because if the experiance is going to be the same then I rather go cheap. This lamp is expensive compared to the rest and I really thought it would be more like the original but it is not. Latest update amazon let me return this lamp but I got charged a $17 restocking fee. I bought the cheapest I could find $30 and it even had the option for a 3 year warranty on the purchase and I do not regret the buy no more messing with the lamp it starts right up okay clear picture. We have been using it for a month now many times and it works great. Point is don't waste your money on this one there are cheaper and better products out there that you will be much happier with. Amazon just confirmed they will give back the restocking fee so thank you amazon but still save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

This replacement is great! DO NOT think Just because it isn't a extremely expense Epson replacement that it won't work. Nothing is further from the truth. This is a great purchase for the money, and performance and when I need a lamp replacement for my Epson Home Projector I will purchase this again. Also it was easy to install.

This bulb so far looks great but its started to emit a high pitch alarm sound. I cannot figure out how to make it stop. Very odd. But this bulb is very bright and looks really good.

The product works as it should we have had no problems with it at all. It's 2 years old and works perfectly good lifespan so far. The picture quality is great. It fit my projector perfectly Great value and easy installation.

I purchased this to replace the current aging bulb which has 1967 hours. I did not notice it with the prior bulb but a reddish pink haze on the left hand of the screen.The bulb seems to work as expected. Sending the projector in for cleaning.The seller was notified of the issue I was seeing and they were very responsive. Happy to do business with them again. Changed my rating to a 5.Thank you for the support.

Bought this projector lamp and it stopped working after 4 weeks, 5 days after my return window closed. To make matters worse, was having a movie night birthday party for my child and this was when it decided not to work. Fortunately we saved our 5 year old bulb and that one still worked for us and saved the night. Extremely frustrated, what a waste of money, do not purchase this from here!!

I have been using it for 1 months and do not notice any issues like some previous. You can not touch any portion of the bulb or you may lose some life of the bulb due to oils or fingerprints overheating the lamp.
