2 Inch Round Orchid/Hydroponics Slotted Mesh Net Pot - 25 Pack

Just what I needed for my freshwater aquarium especially now that I went over to white sand but they work well for my other tanks too.

Used in kratky hydroponics to hold hydroton. Great size for pepper seedlings, basil, lettuce, and cilantro. no need to go much bigger. Poor casting of the plastic though and the plastic on the bottom is mostly sealed. Had to scale it away with a knife so roots could creep down.

The lip on these is so narrow that the net pot can fall through straight through the hole it is designed to fill. I wouldn't recommend these for anything like kratky since the weight of the plant is enough to push it through into the reservoir.

There isn't anything wrong with this net cup. They are smaller than I needed, I ordered the 3 inch model, which is more suitable for regular size vegetable plants

Yep, it`s a plastic net cup.

helps out great with piranhas, instead of having to replant the roots everytime they want to rip a plant up, i just have to stand a cup up. lolholds roots and fine gravel.
