This book will help gain a deeper understanding of how to prepare your business plan, and how to execute those plans.

This content was the core of my Managing Growth Management MBA course. The info is invaluable. You can get almost as much out of reading this book as from taking a class. Make sure to go online and download the content that goes with the book. I used the financial statements downloaded for my business plan. I realized I needed the book while I was on vacation, only 2 days before class started and I had 2 chapters to read before class! Thanks to Amazon prime and the supplier, I got the book on time.

This book is a wealth of information. I would reccoment this book to anyone who is looking at opening his or her own business. As a business consultant I have learned many prinicples and methods from this book that I have applied with working with many of my customers. I will be giving my cutomers this a gift when purchasing my services in the future due to the wealth of knowledge availible in this book!!!

I am considering going into business, after investing my time through my early 30s in education, so I can augment or switch my income. Books has extreme details but if you do not have some background in business, as in my case, some chapters will baffling. I am planning to get back to this book later once I formulated a business plan probably with the help of an MBA student in an incubator. To be honest even stupid me got to learn something such as the incubator existance and what basic help I need.In short you will get from the book based on your level, if you are a beginner like me then you will get around 30 percent, if you are and expert you will know 50 percent of that stuff but will find the rest 50 percent quite interesting and will enjoy the myriad of sources and resources the book offers.

I would give this book 10 stars if I could. It breaks down just about everything you want to know about starting a business. Some of the material may be outdated since it was written some years ago BUT it is still worth the price even though you can look up some of the stuff on the Internet. It is nice and convenient to have everything you would want to know in one spot. The book is also very well written.

I purchased this for a seminary class. It's rather dense and should be used as a resource.

It' a textbook. I had to read it. It had words in it. I'm sure it was hard for the author to write it. Props to him. End of review.
