Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Captain Phasma Exclusive 12 Inch Action Figure

This is definitely my favorite out the 12'' Force Awakens toy line. She looks great. Unlike the other Captain Plasma figures, this one actually has a feminine body type when compared to an average male First Order Stormtrooper. When compared to the 12'' Stormtrooper figure, she has slightly wider hips and her upper torso is very different. Her chest plate is raised higher, and her belly armor is a bit more narrow. She also has some extra pouches on her belt which the Stormtrooper lacks. I must mention that the paint is absolutely beautiful. It is not exactly chrome, more like silver, but it is very reflective. Like every other 12'' Star Wars figures in this line, there will always be scuff marks and the possibility of paint imperfections. On this figure, these flaws are not very noticeable. I love the cape. It has a red stripe along one side, which is great and well painted. Her cape is made out of plastic, and has good texture detail to it. I do not understand why people prefer cloth for capes and robes. In my opinion, I hate it when capes are made out of cloth. Cloth capes always end up fraying and getting very dirty. Like the other 12'' figures in the line, they have limited articulation, only 7 points. This does not all bother me, only because I love the look of these characters. Like the 12'' First Order Stormtrooper figure, her rifle can be attached to her thigh very well. I love holsters, keep it up Hasbro! Her rifle has a gold tinge to it and has a great looking stock molded in. I think this figure would make a decent toy to be handled and played with by children. It offers the same charm to it as Star Wars figures have always had, no lame gimmicks required. My biggest issue with the figure is that the paint smudges off the helmet EXTREALY easily. Be VERY careful when even gently toughing the helmet. The paint on the head is gummy in texture and shows black underneath. This is a BIG problem that should never have happened! if you are a fan of Sormtroopers or you are collecting the Star Wars 12'' toy line like me. I bought my Captain Phasma on Amazon. You may be able to find one of these at a Toys R Us. I have never tried buying this at Toys R Us, so I have no Idea how difficult this is to buy locally. Little pricey for a doll, but my daughter loves Star Wars and being a life-long Star Wars fan myself I can really thinkOf nothing more fun to buy for us.UPDATE: two months later the figure is loosing paint, on top of the head-but buy some silver paint and it's fixed. Still a cool toy.

My favorite toy to play with

Really well made figure very please with purchase, however, seller did not have to put a sticker indicating it was new. The seller put the sticker on the box, me being a collector is a big no no as packaging is also important. Otherwise a very good purchase.

LOVE this figure! It was the best figure for fifteen bucks ever! Out everywhere. Fifteen bucks.
