Arbroath Smokies - 3kg Shipped fresh but can be frozen

I got the 3 kg box of arbroath smokies and im happy with the product which took forty eight hours from dispatch to delivery because of hold up kn transit... The fish were cool still but the ice pack had melted.... When i contacted trrhe company they said 48 hours was within guidelines... I froze mine straight away and kept a pair to try for freshness and taste...... If you like strong amoked fish flavour these are very good and i tried cooking one in the oven to reheat and one in the microwave till. Both ways were good i thought.... I watched a you tube video on the smoking method and from i learnt when the middle row of bones should come out fairly easily from head to tail when the fish open flat on plate.... The middle fillets were fairly bone free but the outer parts quite bony i just took my time and ended up with the skin and small bones on side of plate... But the the flavour was great! Hope this helps anyone a bit concerned about the eating.. Product sound...

Taste was wonderful! found their website - and found they have venison! I will defo be permanent customer!

Too many bones in the fish for you to enjoy!! Took ages to remove the bones which was a disappointment.
