Should have both ends. Our 1st order was only one. Called customer service. Cleared it up. Boxed it. Picked up next day and new order with both halves arrived.

Does the kayak come with paddles?

No, the kayak does not come with paddles. This kayak and the other modular kayaks offer ease of transport and storage. I have this snap sit on top kayak (I have the tandem) and a point 65 martini tandem. I value the ease of transport, Leslie had shoulder surgery and can easily move the kayaks. The only issue is learning the tricks to take the kayak apart. The older version of latches (like on my older martini) are easier to disconnect.

how do I get the front end of this kayak? Only the back half showed up.

Call Amazon help center. We had same issue. Amazon had the whole kayak delivered the next day and picked up the first package.
