Methylcellulose - Methocel® E4M ⊘ Non-GMO ☮ Vegan ✡ OU Kosher Certified - 50g/2oz

I would LIKE to use this as a supplement similar to Citrucel but without the added dyes and sweeteners. Can it be ingested safely just sprinkled on a salad or on fruit or other food? I know it must be accompanied with lots of water or choking can occur. It does NOT dissolve in cold water, for sure, like Citrucel powder does. Thanks for your help.

It works better than any I've ever used! This was my second purchase. I will continue to buy the only thing I don't like is it's a little expensive for the amount you get and I wish I could buy more at a time

Great stuff!One teaspoon is good for 1/2 gallon of eye-drops. I also added in a few drops of glycerin which makes my eye-drops very smooth.This one teaspoon of methylcellulose has made a lifetime supply of eye-drops. Compare cost to .5 oz of Refresh at $12 or more. The cost savings are ridiculous!Just two cautions - use distilled water and mix slowly dropping a few grains of powder into fast moving water.

Great quality product. The price is fair. The methylcellulose was sealed great! It arrived on time, and undamaged. I'll definitely be buying more!
