I have been taking 3 per day as per the recommended dose for almost 3 weeks.I am not sure if they are meant to do this but my appetite feels almost suppressed (a good thing!) I don't get such constant hunger pangs and I am able to eat normal size portions of food (instead of excessive ones) and feel content.Obviously, flaxseed pil has lots of other benefits but the above is the most obvious one to me currently. (And a very welcome one!) Hopefully my body is also benefiting in other ways.I will definitely repurchase.

I have used a number of products from Simply Supplements and always find them of good quality and of a reasonable price.These large Flaxseed capsules are easily swallowed and have little discernible flavour. Helpful if you need a supplement which is high in Linoleic acid.

I often complain about the dishonesty of supplement sellers who headline a reasonable price and generous number of pills, only to hide away the info. that to get the recommended dose you need to take 2 / 3 or even 4 caps / tablets daily. The current price of £9.99 buys you a month's supply if you follow their headlined advice.Personally, I feel I already have too many pills (prescription and supplements) to swallow at each meal. I like to consume ground flax seed in food every day (in fritters or chia pudding) so I feel I can afford to keep my flaxseed oil down to 1 cap daily. The Best Before date on my bottle is September 2025, when my caps will be long gone, even if I eke them out for a full 4 months.I have given 5 stars for flavour, because there is none, and for being easily swallowed. I do find capsules, however large, so much more comfortable to get down than tablets, except for the tiniest ones. The bottle is opaque, excluding UV light that might degrade the cold-pressed oil. However I have searched in vain for any indication that the bottle might be re-cyclable or even re-cycled.I suggest you Google for the myriad benefits of flaxseed oil. Unlike some "miracle" supplements that have more recently come on the market, flax seed has been known about for a very long time.Finally, I am glad that these caps are made in the UK. We are warned that the supplement market is a jungle, with many products not containing what they claim, or containing what they should not. Perhaps I am being unfair, but I hesitate before buying supplements made in China, India, Poland or the USA.
