The purity of getting exactly as advertised, freeze dried dragon fruit, is what makes this product great. When I first got it I was thinking of the cool things I could make with dragon fruit, but what ended up happening is that I just ate it all in a few sessions as is. To me, that is a testament to the quality of the base product; when there is nothing added to it to be "more" or "fun" and it is enjoyable as it is. It literally tastes like freeze dried dragon fruit and I wouldn't have it any other way. It is delicious and unoffensively sweet, with that slight naturally seedy-mild flavor of dragon fruit, but amplified due to the condense nature of freeze dried process.

Well it is delicious dragonfruit but it arrived as a blob of fruit pieces. Not a reason to avoid a purchase. Was a bit laughable when I opened the package. Maybe a dusting of rice powder before or in the package would help the dried chunks stay separated.

This stuff is absolutely disgusting! And hard as a rock. I thought I’d break my teeth so I spit it out. Also most of the pieces are all stuck together into one huge chunk. I could literally knock someone out with this if I hit them over the head. This is NOT the consistency that it should be. I’ve had this stuff many times over the years from a local shop in my area. Unfortunately they no longer carry it so I figured I’d try Amazon. It’s one of my favs when I can find it.Of course it’s not refundable so I will need to reach out to Amazon or the seller to see what they can do. Even though it stays I have until November 22nd to return it so that’s very misleading. If I could rate this ZERO STARS, I would. Please don’t waste your time or money on this item. I recommend you skip it. Dont believe the positive reviews.I want to add that the expiration date says 12/1/25. I can’t imagine what this would look and feel like next year.I’m so disappointed this happened. I was looking forwards to this and grabbed it right when it was delivered to try it. And then this happens….

This lovely product comes well packaged inside a plastic bag, which is inside a plastic canister with a sealed foil lid and a screw- on jar lid, so it is triple sealed. It is designed to keep moisture from entering the dried dragon fruit and keep it very fresh and sanitary. The dried dragon fruit is the most beautiful shade of purple. I am planning to use mine for adding to cake or frosting, it will add exquisite color, texture and flavor to my home baked goods. It is exotic and rare. It will add a whole new level to my baking. Wonderful product. Our grocery store only began adding dragon fruit to the list of fruit in the produce department last fall. It is very expensive, so I feel that purchasing dried dragon fruit is a good option especially if using it in baking. Dragon fruit is very beautiful and seems like art to me. I love that this product is 100% natural, with no added chemicals or sugar!

These have a very weird flavor, or more taste quite bland and stale. I understand that the freeze dried process can have different end results, but this isn't it. Unless you use half or the whole container, you may get a minimal of flavor out of this. At least it gives your food the infamous bright pink hue, and especially so if you are using this to also infuse your drinks with. Disappointing about the taste, because the value is pretty good and you get some nice sized pitaya chunks. These come in a sizeable plastic jar with an aluminum safety seal on the inside, and the fruit is in a loose plastic baggie to reduce the dust residue.

The dragon fruit was very very good, however it was too expensive in my opinion for the amount of dragon fruit in the container. Was trying to replicate the Starbucks refresher; it turned out pretty good!

They are sweet and bursting with flavor! The container is vacuum sealed with a foil lid and there was actually slightly more product than 2.7 ounces. The chunks were stuck together when I first opened the container, not sure if this is normal, but they did break apart very easily.
