We have been having a problem with my son being scared of the smoke detector so I thought maybe something like this would work. And it does! He can’t see the smoke detector so he feels safe. I was surprised on how tall it is. For us that works great. We like to lay in bed with him and read stories. There are doors on both sides of it. And there are windows on the shorter sides. This can be used outside as like a tent or inside and have your mattress go inside of it. Our mattress fit great in it.It is such a good quality. One thing is that the snaps to hold the door side open are kind of tough to get unsnapped. Maybe after they get worn down a little bit. Overall, this is still a great product.

I purchased this for my 12yr old Autistic daughter. She's been wanting one for a long while now, but it's a more expensive item and I was uncertain if it was the right purchase for us. I'm glad to say that it was worked wonders to help calm and regulate her emotions. She will retire to her room/bed tent in order to read a book or draw. It has helped her sleep better as well.With that said, on the parent side, this is a bit of a headache. It was easy to unfold when it arrived, however it was very difficult to get the poles pushed all the way in because it appeared that the poles were just too long for the slots in the tent. It took my husband and I working together to stretch the tent fabric to get the poles in and we were very grateful none of the fabric ripped. Also, we had to remove the mattress, put the tent in place, then wrestle the mattress back onto the bed through the tent door. With the tent in place, changing the bed sheets is not easy. Fortunately my daughter is old enough to help with this task, but I can see that parents with younger children might want to take this fact into consideration when choosing this item for their home. Another consideration is the bed location in the room. I used to be able to crack my daughter's door to be able to check on her at night. However, now my view is blocked by the tent. I'm sure my daughter likes this fact since she's of an age of wanting autonomy and privacy. Overall, I suppose it was an ok purchase, but I'm not sure I would purchase it again should something happen to this one.

Second time purchasing and stilll great quality. The kids love it and is great for my boys with special needs.

My son uses it in his room but I think would be great for camping or anytime you need to black out a bed for sleep. Does get hot inside.

Don’t use it for a bunk bed. It doesn’t fit the twin mattress by 1” on both sides about and the zipper is too tall off the mattress for your kid to get off and into the ladder safely. It wouldn’t work on the bottom bunk either because it’s too tall. Basically I can’t return it since the box is damaged as well and this is super flimsy- the top doesn’t even stay up in the middle.

My son loves this! We've had it now for a couple years and it's still going strong. We recently moved and it still is in great condition. Highly recommend.
