Fantastic Phone!
Love this phone, upgraded from a previous Xiaomi - well worth the money - features and speed would beat most rivals for the money.

IT person here so tend to be very critical but this is a great phone for the price
The media could not be loaded. My last phone was a Xiaomi Mi A3 and I only replaced it because it didn't survive a very wet walk. Did a reasonable amount of research and ended up here. Excellent value. Speedy, feels well built and does everything I want it to do. My main "must have" feature was NFC so I could use Google Pay. Works very well. Not a massive amount of storage (same as old phone) but then again, most stuff goes into the cloud these days so it's fine unless you want loads of movies and music on there. I've got 40 albums on there and still got 50% free. Think you can add more via the SIM slot.MIUI user interface took a bit of learning after the stock Android experience on the A3 but it's okay. About the only "complaint" is the amount of bloatware and adverts occasionally popup when doing thing like ringtones. But once I got the phone setup as I wanted, it's not annoying.Attached video of charger as a couple of people were asking. UK plug with collapsible earth pin. 65W of quick charge goodness. Right now, I don't worry about charging. I'm not a massively heavy user but getting about 4 days use. Recharge in what feels like minutes.

Great budget phone, with a lot of features however it does lack in some areas
So have had this phone a short while now, and for the 270 quid price I paid for it, I think it is worth it.I had just move away from my iPhone 14 Pro Max (I wont compare the 2 devices as they are miles apart) as a prefer Android to IOS but also did not need an expensive phone. And this fits the bill.Pros:Great screen. The 120hz display is super crispBattery - I get a day of heavy usage out of it, running into 2 days for moderate use. And if on Battery saver even moreFast charging works well with the 65w charger. I get from 15% to full in about 40 minutesCamera - This is a Pro and a Meh, its decent for the price (colour saturation can be odd) but over all its decent for a 50mp camera.Performance - Pretty good, some slight lag between changing apps and occasionally browsing, but over all good. I use it mainly for GPS, and playing games (PUBG, COD Mobile, Runescape) All run fairly wellCons:Feels cheap. The material used was done to cut costs. You will have constant finger marks and smears present. Also it has next to no weight to it, so has almost flown out of my handThe phone case included is no good, would advise buying a better oneSoftware is bloated and constant stream of suggested apps that are uselessEven the built in apps, are behind ad wear. An example, the system optimiser, once used, will present you with an ad for an app you will never useYou can remove some preinstalled apps but not all, however you are able to hide them.Over all, for the price, and what I need the phone for I am happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone who does not want to bankrupt themselves with the latest flagship phone

Very Good Phone
Bought for my daughter. She loves it. Only issue is there's no SD card slot to expand the memory. Kids seem to take a few thousand photos a day and keep them all.

Great phone for the price
I have a Redmi Note Pro 12 before and I think they are great for the price. Love the colour of this one, light metallic blue & it comes with a clear cover too. Basically does almost everything that a Samsung Galaxy does, with a slightly more basic camera, for half the price. Definitely recommended.

Don't buy if you love using fingerprint scanner or connecting to other sound gadgets. ou
My Redmi Note 8 was finally dying so I upgraded to same phone but 12.Much faster than old phone but feel familiar because it's basically the same. The 8 had a fingerprint scanner on the back that worked flawlessly for years. Some time after version 8 they've moved it to the power button. It's the most useless, pathetic excuse for a fingerprint sensor I've ever come across.I've had to turn it off and just use code entry to phone instead, which is really difficult to get used to now. If it was just on fingerprint sensor, this would be 1 star.My banking apps which I really love having as fingerprint entry have also had to be downgraded. The sound output using everything but the phones speakers is pitiful in the extreme. I have to turn the volume up so ridiculously high on any thing I've Bluetoothed to or aux cabled to that when I connect anything else to them it's ear shatteringly loud. Again the version 8 didn't do that. Maybe I have a faulty phone or there's some super secret setting I need to change but I'm not going to buy another one just to see if it's this particular unit.
