Great product. I love it. Interesting: taste more like chocolate than carob (as the label says).

Did you know that carob is actually healthier than cacao powder and it has a "sweet taste" unlike cacao. It also has no caffein unlike cacao. I love chocolate but am sensitive to the caffeine so i went back to carob. i wish there were lots of chocolate bars and products out there made with carob but there isn't so you have to make it yourself.

My 81 year old brother wanted to buy carob after watching a health cooking show. He says substituting carob for cocoa lowers his pulse rate which is what he wanted. The caffeine was making his heart race and now, using carob as a flavoring, quiets his pulse rate. Feels better.

Great value. I’ve been making, what I call carob flats. Add broken almonds to the mix and lightly powder with coco powder before cooking. A great taste. Also add carob chips. Good with or without the coco powder

I got this product to try to see if it could replace more expensive chocolate. It tastes like chocolate with a slight aftertaste. I use it in my shakes. I also ordered it because the only review at the time gave it 2 stars because they could figure out the package. I didn't feel this was fair, so here I am. All these type packages open the same. Use a screwdriver or butter knife and pop the pull tab at on the bottom seal. Pulling the seal around took less than 5 pounds of pressure. ANY COMPETANT PERSON CAN DO IT!
