Interlux Y4359/QT Brightside Polyurethane Paint - White, Quart

I like this paint but its hard to work with. Likes to run but it does flow out really nice.

A high quality finish without mixing. I used this on a solid core door to which I fastened legs and made a sewing table for the spouse. I applied Pre-Kote primer first, sanded, then put on two coats of Brightside. It was easy to apply and makes a hard surface that even sewing pins don't penetrate.The best technique for applying this is the rolling and tipping method. If you aren't familiar with this, check out youtube videos under roll and tip boat painting. This method gives a surface that appears to be sprayed on at a factory. You can even paint a car with this method.

After prep work, this paint went on very easily. I used the roll/ roll method, laying down a thin primary layer first and following up with a almost dry second roller. This paint levelled out perfectly on both vertical and horizontal surfaces, hard to tell it wasn't sprayed from a few feet away.

I've never painted a boat before and after doing some research on types of paint and talking with a few professionals, I went with this paint and I couldn't be happier. The boat has come back to life after 14 years of neglect from the previous owner.

Used this paint on my fiberglass canoe and aluminum (and primed) garage door. It covers very well with one coat. It covers a large area per quart.
