I have researched a lot of Han Solo vests and I'm glad I settled on this one. This is a well made vest and is quite screen accurate. The stitching is good and it is solidly built. It is lightweight but not a flimsy, paper-thin garment you typically think of with costume clothing. Its quality makes it good for everyday wear. So far this is the best Han Solo vest within the 'affordable' category.The material is a lightweight, cotton twill. The product description says, 'cotton canvas' but it is not canvas. It is a twill weave, which is what Han Solo's vest should be anyway. The tag on the inside of the vest says, '100% polyester' but that might refer to the vest's polyester lining. The actual shell of the vest feels like cotton. As mentioned before the vest is fully lined with a polyester satin.All the pockets are functional including the large cargo pocket on the lower back. The four, front pockets are gusseted for extra expansion. There are no pockets on the inside of the vest.There is no front closure on this vest; no zipper, no buttons, no velcro. Han Solo's movie vest is meant to be worn open with no closure so this vest stays true to that detail.Based on the sizing chart I fell on the border between x-small & small. I took a chance and ordered the x-small and I'm glad I did. I hope to shed some light on the measurements for others looking to buy this vest. Here are my body measurements:Gender: MaleHeight: 5'7Weight: 142 lbsChest: 40"Waist: 30"Body Type: Slim with lean, athletic buildVest Size: Extra SmallThis x-small vest fits slightly snug under my armpits but it is not tight or uncomfortable. The fit is fine everywhere else. I took accurate measurements of the vest and made a picture for those interested.The length of this vest is about 2 inches longer than the screen version of Han Solo's vest. Han's movie vest is short and doesn't reach his pant's belt but this vest ends at the bottom of my belt. However, you can fold the hem under itself and sew it shorter. That will shorten it by 1.5 inches.There is some confusion with other reviews as to whether the vest runs large or small. If you are on the border between sizes on the chart and unsure which size to get, this is my theory...If you are a slim / skinny / lean body type go for the smaller of the two size options. If you are bulky muscular / thicker / chubby go for the larger of the two size options. Hope this helps!

Only bought the large size vest. I have a19 inch across should/arm distance from left to right joint, 43-inch chest, 39-inch waist standard about 5"9 tall. All measures but height, are self-measured. The vest fits perfect. The bottom edge does overlap to my belt area by about two inches but that is ok. The loops on the back are in theory in conjunction with another's help (or good planning). The large single pocket across the small of the back could be opened up but cutting a little thread be used to secure rolls of maps or similar. Chances are I won't but who knows.

Ordered just the belt/holster for my Halloween costume (Empire Strikes Back Han,) and I'm pleasantly surprised.The belt fits exactly how you'd expect, feels sturdy, and looks perfect. No instructions on how to put it together, so it can be kind of confusing. But just take a look at the pictures, and you'll figure it out quick.Definitely recommend the belt/holster.

This is a great vest. The material is perfect and the quality is great. I feel like I could wear this all the time without worrying about it wearing out.The biggest challenge I've found purchasing items like this is getting the right size. I find myself being stuck between L and XL most of the time. I have 16" neck, 20" shoulders, 44" chest and 40" waist (though my 36" jeans fit comfortably lol). I was afraid the large would be too small so I ordered XL. The XL is just a bit roomy for me and it's possible the large would have been a better fit, but overall I'm happy with what I got.

The price change for the belt and holster makes it look as if the belt and holster come WITH the vest and shirt, and it doesn’t. It’s in the very extreme fine details, even some of the customer questions make it seem as if the belt and holster comes with the vest, extremely infuriating, would not of purchased if known and probably going to return

BEAUTIFUL + STURDYTo be honest, I am quite surprised how nice this is.EVERY pocket is functional, 2 huge lower front pockets with flaps, 1 big upper left pocket with flap, 1 angled but deep front pocket on the upper rightAND 1 enormous pocket in the back. Even the very HanSolo vertical patterns on the back are open (not pockets but you could put a poster tube in there (if you secured it somehow)The inside is lined and because it's polyester it feels sturdy and hangs perfectly.I LOVE that there's no front closure, it's heavy wrinkle proof polyester, and of course the iconic lack of collar makes the vest hang really nicelyThis is NOT cheap material, nor is it cheaply made - this is NOT a costume.I might buy another one just to wear every day (and I wear my stuff hard)

Sizing is good,It’s a good. Replica of Han Solo the jacket.Every one at the party recognize it.

Looks great. However, the photos make it seem like it zips closed, but there is no zipper.There is no way to fasten it so it will stay closed like it appears in the photo, so I deducted one star for a misleading photo.The vest is evidently designed to be worn open, and there is no way to fasten it so it's closed, so why does the photo show it closed?

Fantastic quality, lined and well made. This is an excellent reproduction of Han Solo's vest from A New Hope. Its very comfortable and all the pockets are functional.
