Worked very well for my need
The hose comes wrapped up in circles and it tends to want to stay that way. Not as flexible as I would have liked. I had to carefully bend it back to a near straight line. The dimensions are correct, it is a true 1 1/4 inch inside diameter and it is fairly sturdy once you get the hose to lay out flat.

Nice rugged hose but make sure to use the correct fittings
Nice tubing and rugged.I don’t recommend using this tube with the pictured spears fittings. I used the 1-1/4” tube with the spears 1-1/4” barb fitting but it was an absolute bear to get it in. I had to boil water and dip the end of the pipe to soften it to get those fittings to fit. Even with that it was a bear to get in. You might want to get one size barb fitting down. IE 1-1/4” pipe with a 1 “ barb fitting?The step fittings had no issue, just use a good clamp for those.Overall a great quality pipe just be sure to use the correct fittings.

If you are looking for 1-1/4” vacuum cleaner hose, look no further.
I needed some longer hoses for my Bucket Head shop vacs which are useless as they come. I dug, ordered & returned until I came across this. First, it is rigid, you aren’t going to crush it by standing on it. Second, it fits the 1-1/4” hose barbs from the OEM vacuum hose, third it’s smooth inside so it won’t gunk up like corrugated hose. If you need similar hose for water pumps etc. this is heavy duty durable stuff but not so stiff that it’s unmanageable and it is indeed 1-1/4” ID precisely & smooth. The spiral coil is make of PVC not wire so it is easy to cut and get a neat square end and it is encapsulated within the hose so no chanceof it separating.

if the Barb fitting is tight use a heat gun
some people might not like this pipe / hose for outdoor use as it appears to be a heavy vinyl with reinforcing ribbing.I'm using this on my 210 gallon aquarium with 1-1/4 plumbing throughout.I find it a good value for me as it will never see the sun / UV nor harsh weather.I can bend the hose and it will not collapse with about a 8-in diameter loop maybe a little bit more.the hose went easily over the inch and a quarter barbs on the canister filter and the pump as I suspect the hose and those barbs might be a metric equivalent to 1-1/4.when it came to the 1-1/4" Barb to NPT/slip schedule 40/plumbing I could not get this hose to go more than a quarter inch onto the Barb. Boiling water on the end of the hose for a couple of minutes did not improve the situation.What worked is using a heat gun and heating the last two inches of this hose and sliding it on to the Barb not pushing the hose, but more pulling I.E gripping the hot part that you just heated. After using the heat gun if you tried to push it on the warmed up plastic vinyl it will just collapse and not go on the Barb, that's why you have to grasp the hot portion and slide it on
