Egoway A1466 A1369 MacBook Air 13 inch Battery, fits A1405 A1377 A1496

So my macbook air (early 2015) had "service now" showed in my battery bar. I've owned several macs but never had similar issues. Got an appointment and took it to my local apple store, they said they had to order the part and then I would need to leave my laptop for 3-5 days to get it replaced, cost $129+ tax. I called bestbuy and asked them (since now they are apple authorized service centers) and they said they would have to mail my laptop to their facility in Kentucky for repair - so it would take longer. I had no interest in leaving my laptop with anyone with all my data on it. So decided to come to amazon and read up on several batteries - settled on this brand. The battery also comes with the 2 screwdrivers you will need.There is a video on youtube to install it - took less than 15 mins. Then instructions on how to recharge, drain etc is also there. I feel like I have a brand new laptop. Thanks for the great product. No issues - its only been 5 days today but if anything changes I will be back to update my review. Greatest thing I gave to my MacBook Air for it's rebirth! 5 full stars since this battery was really essential to my MacBook Air's 2nd life.PROS:- I am assuming this is the same mAh of 7200 as the original Apple one. Seems to last the same time as when I first bought the laptop.- My Air is the A146 but it seems to work for other models - A1369, A1377, A1405, and A1496.- All certified for safety and will not overcharged.- 18 months warranty so that's a good peace of mind.- Not too difficult to install and came with a couple screwdrivers.Good for people that has a very degraded battery in their MacBook Air 1. However, you better make sure it's one of those models so it's compatible.

My mid-2012 MacBook Air battery was slowly conking out, and I wanted to replace it. Last time the battery was dying - about 3-4 years ago - I took it in to a certified Mac repair shop - out of warranty - and they replaced the battery and did some other work on it, charging me $300. I’d heard the batteries are actually easy to replace, so this time I was like aw no, I’m going to replace it myself. The battery was super easy to install - I watched some videos on YouTube about it - and the new one works great! Pro Tip: make sure to save the screws and note which go where (some are long, some are short). Thry are pentalobe, proprietary apple screws. Note , Egoway ships the screwdrivers you need with the battery, so you don’t need to buy them separately. The screws are magnetized to the screwdriver which makes installation a breeze. Highly recommend!

I have purchased and installed this battery 4 times on 2 different laptops. Very high quality. I recently purchased a cheaper one from another company, and it was not good at all. This particular battery is well made. The only complaint is that it only lasts about 2 years. My laptop is now 8 years old. Apple battery lasted 4 years, and the 2 batteries lasted 2 years each, so I'm getting a new one today to go 2 more years.

This is my second purchase - I got 2 years of service out of the last one, and I'm on my airbook almost nonstop. This kit comes with the tools you need, so you don't have to worry about finding the obscure P5 pentalobe screwdriver or a T5 TORX screwdriver. I am very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

This battery worked fine for a while, but after about 8 months the capacity dropped 8% and it stopped holding a full charge, it will never fully charge now and stops charging at about 80%, which cuts the battery life significantly. The battery also dies so quickly, I have a Macbook Air that used to last 5-6 hours on the battery, which now drains in about 2 hours, and I'm only on cycle 217. The "18 month warranty" is also a lie, as I reached out to the company and received no response for troubleshooting or anything. Clearly they just ignore customers until the warranty is up. My advice is look elsewhere - pay the extra $20 + shipping for an iFixit battery, or just take it to the Apple store. You're just going to end up spending the same amount of money in less than a year as you would just taking it to the Apple store and that'll last for the full 1,000 cycles.

This battery works amazingly well. Use the Coconut Battery app to see just how well your old and new battery deliver by comparison. Only reason for a 4-Star Install review is that the Pentalobe screwdrivers that came with the kit were poor, soft metal and had to be replaced. I opened 4 of the 9 screws before the driver stripped. Thankfully, their tech team had a new one sent to me next day, and I was able to complete the install.

This is a Mac issue not a product issue. Just make sure you have a place to put all these tiny and I do mean tiny screws and pay attention to where they came from,take you time and this battery drops right it. EASY? pretty much yes and performance HELL YES but remember to be careful these screws are wristwatch size! Not the product's fault it's all Apple
