The only brush I’ll ever need.
I decided to get back into wetshaving after several years away. My nearly 20-year-old Shavemac badger hair brush had a badly chipped handle and hairs falling out, so I started looking around at replacement brushes. Turns out, there are a lot more high-quality options out there these days that don’t involve killing badgers or boars for a niche grooming hobby, so I went for this well-reviewed synthetic brush. It outperforms my old silvertip brush in every way. This brush is fantastic. The tips are soft and luxurious, but the knot has a bit more backbone to it, which helps with loading soap onto the brush. I tested it out on a puck of Arko shave soap in a soup bowl, and I quickly had mountains of beautiful slick lather in the bowl and the brush. No weird smell, no need to shampoo it first or anything like that. Just stellar performance at a reasonable price. I like the heavy handle, too. It makes the brush feel expensive even though it’s not.All in all, a fantastic shaving brush that won’t break the bank or kill an animal.

Great quality and performance with no shedding
This is a great brush. It is soft, lathers well and is very sturdy. It does not give off the "funky wet cat" odor that the animal hair brushes often do, and more importantly it does NOT shed at all! I also have a Parker synthetic with a white pearl handle that I have been using for 3 years and really like that one too. This black handle is identical in quality and performance...only difference is the color. I have been wet shaving for 5 decades, and since I tried my first synthetic 3 years ago I no longer use animal hair brushes because IMO these Parker synthetic brushes have been far better all around. And just in case you're wondering, I'm not a vegan or animal rights activist, I'm just being honest about what works better for me.

It’s a good brush, but. . .
I had the same brush in badger bristle that I like very much, but I wanted to move toward a synthetic version for a variety of reasons. This brush is very well-made, and looks good; some might find it a trifle heavy due to the metal cap, but I think the weight is just fine myself. It comes with a plastic stand, but I usually leave that in the box since I use a metal stand for brush and razor. The bristles are extremely soft, and obviously no odor, but I personally wish the bristles were a little stiffer, and this is something I’ve seen in every synthetic brush I’ve tried. The bristles are so soft that using the brush with a hard artisinal soap is difficult due to the amount of pressure one must exert to build lather. When working with creams this isn’t as much of a problem.Would I recommend this brush? Absolutely, but with the caveats I’ve outlined above.

Soft for the face but I think I like my other synthetic more
Foams up the soap quickly but doesn't seem to hold the cream as much as my other natural brushes. Soft for the face but I think I like my other synthetic more. Natural still the best but maybe one day a man made one will hold moisture like natural hair does

A Great Brush!
This shaving brush by Parker a company based out of India, that makes wet shaving supplies recently came out with this particular brush which features a chrome steel base with a black handle with synthetic bristles. The brush itself looks very elegant and could easily be mistaken for a much more expensive brush. The bristles themselves are very very soft and provide for an excellent lather, but because the brush plate is made of metal it is a bit bottom-heavy, however I actually prefer this as it gives you more weight when applying the brush lather to your face. Overall I think this brush is definitely worth well more than what it sells for and I recommend it to anyone looking for a premium quality synthetic brush at a low price! No animals were harmed in the making of this brush! :)

Great synthetic razor that looks the part.
So this was my first synthetic brush, but it has not disappointed. After some research and using a cheap pure badger brush, I gave this a shot.As for what really matters, the lather, it does a good job. I was surprised to find that it has a good amount of backbone. Makes creating a lather easier and the application quick. What i was surprised to find was how soft the tips of the brush. The combination of back bone and softness created a unique experience. The hefty handle gives great control with the brush and gives a sense of quality my other brushes don't have. For the price, this is a great brush that I would highly advice.

Impressive
I purchased this to replace a 5 year old badger brush that was starting to fall apart. I decided to try a synthetic brush and so far I'm extremely impressed. It's HEAVY - in a good way. It feels like a very well constructed product. It also lacks the unpleasant badger aroma that I remember with my previous brush. The bristle tips are very soft but they seem to stiffen further back to give the brush a nice feel when using. Lathered up pretty good on the first two times I've used it. I'm not sure if it will break in and improve through further use but even if not, I'm happy.

Nice synthetic brush with a high quality finish and good ...
Nice synthetic brush with a high quality finish and good weight. The bristles are on the stiffer side, especially for a modern synthetic, but some users may want that quality.
