Sand Socks

Bought 2 pairs, one xxsmall for my 4 yr old who wears a size 11 toddler shoe... They were a tad big, but worked great ... The other pair (xs)was for my oldest, 10 yrs old size 5 shoes... fit perfect... Both loved them... They wore them with their water shoes on top and no complaints of sand hurting their feet... My 4 yr old hates the sand on his feet, not the kind at the beach, but like on the intercoastal where it is more course and sometimes has small pebbles...It would get in his water shoes when wading to fish and he would have a fit and everyone had to stop and wash his feet four or five times during a few hour trip... annoying lol... BUT last trip he wore his socks with his shoes and NO complaints the whole time... I took them off and no sand was inside and threw them right in the wash... Happy campers!

I purchased these socks for my 6 year old son who has severe eczema and sensitivity on the bottom of his feet. I wanted something he could use for swimming in a pool that was softer than a typical water shoe, but would protect his feet from painfully splitting open after going barefoot. He has used them in the pool several times now, and I am amazed at how well his feet were protected. The instructions do say not for use on hard surfaces, but around a pool, that is near impossible. Although they are little snagged around the edges (which is to be expected) they are holding up wonderfully. They are are easy on/easy off but are secure enough to handle vigorous swimming and playing in the water. These socks are great and I am so happy to have found them. I will definitely purchase again in the future. After a full day of swimming and hearing, "Mommy! My feet don't hurt!" made these worth every penny.

As an avid beach volleyball player, my feet are always scratchy from playing on sand. With these Sand Socks I can confirm that my feet feel slightly smoother and that they of course do not get sandy. There is nothing worse than putting on socks after getting your feet sandy, so these are a life-saver. The fit of the socks is slightly loose, but does not impede my mobility on the court. The durability of these is fair, but then again I do play volleyball in these quite frequently. One pair of these tends to last me a season of outdoor play, so I need a new pair basically every year. I am more than willing to pay the price for these rather than to pay the price of constantly exposing my feet to the sand. On top of protecting my feet, the designs that are available are pretty sheek. I would definitely recommend these to wear and play volleyball in.

Sand still get in these socks, not sure what I expected

I play volleyball in Wisconsin, so as you can imagine there are some pretty chilly nights with feet in the sand (to the point where it hurts). These are well worth the $22 I spend on them. The thicker neoprene bottoms have made playing in 40 degree weather bearable. My feet still feel a bit chilly but not cold and definitely not in pain like they are when I am bare foot. it took getting used to playing with something on my feet, and I am still not 100% used to it. But once you get over it, they are amazing. I have size 14M feet and the XL fits great, nice and snug, not too tight not too lose. They are exactly how I want them to fit. The only thing I think I would change is to provide a little bit more velcro, but they still hold without coming apart.
